I've been wearing Finn Comfort shoes for several years now. Great arch support and plenty of width for my feet. Very comfortable and they last a long time. I bought this shoe in black last year and it looked great when I wore a skirt and tights. Wish they weren't so expensive, but I'll have them for many years and they don't go out of style.

These are the best shoes! They are the quintessential comfort shoe! They run a tad big. I typicall wear 6 1/2 or 37. I bought 37 and had to return them and get a 36. Thirty six fits perfectly, and Zappos is so easy on returns!
Brands I'd also recommend: Finn Comfort is the best, but I also like Ecco

These are the best shoes I have ever owned. A friend bought me a pair 3 years ago and I wore them out. I finally told myself they were worth every penny and bought myself a pair. I am on my feet all the time and have never had any other shoe that was this good for comfort. I highly recommend.

These shoes are great. I have very difficult feet (bunions, no arch) and finding shoes is difficult. I work in NY in the fashion industry and am surrounded by well dressed men and women. These shoes are beautiful and comfortable, and when I wear them I feel as if I'm at least on par with the fashionistas!

This shoe is way better looking than the picture would lead you to believe. The cigar color is actually a bronze metallic, not a brown leather. It looks great with slacks and with short skirts. I love it. I bought this to wear traveling in Europe; I don't quite have the time I'd like to break the inner sole in (it takes a while) so I put in the insole from my 5 year old Finn Comfort clog and it works great. I'll break the other insole in at my leisure.

I have bunions, hammertoes, and wide feet and these shoes have saved me from surgery. Considering that, they are a bargain! They are beautifully constructed, soft and supportive, and accommodate my orthotics nicely. The patent leather can dress up or down (I recently wore them to a wedding), and they do not look too clunky like you would expect orthotics shoes to be. I will order another pair in brown as soon as I can afford it!

This shoe is comfortable right out of the box. I have been dealing with Achilles damage for more than a year and my shoe choices are limited. Finn Comfort is a dream come true. These cause no discomfort in the Achilles area. And received the day after I ordered!

Superb shoe. I've bought at least half a dozen premium brands and the Newport offers me 100% comfort, and relief from knee, foot, and back pain. Worn on trips walking rough roads and on city streets. This is the best shoe I have ever worn. Though it doesn't tie, it has retained its fit through an incredible amount of wear. I love it.

Very comfortable shoes ... great arch supports ... I am a senior level staff member in a statistical research setting, and I find these shoes "dressy" enough to wear to work (with pants ... not so sure about skirts). I highly recommend this shoe! (I have both black and brown.)

These are fantastic shoes. I am accustomed to wearing flats and tennis shoes. These are much better on the knees. You can easily walk miles in these shoes, and they're fine for business casual.

Great shoe for business casual - I ordered the patent version of this shoe and I love it. I don't think the footbed is AS nice as some of my other Finn's... but they are still really comfortable. My only complaint would be how much they crease - but this is just how your foot moves when you walk!

Worth every dollar! Finn Comfort is the most comfortable shoe made. I have always worn good support shoes in my job, but now in my 50's my back is giving me more trouble. It was suggested to get even better shoes. Finn Comfort cleared up the back and hip pain. I work on my feet in retail. The shoes have lasted day after day for over 2 years, and they take quite a beating. As for appearance, I am asked frequently where I got my patent Croc Newports, many compliments. I own 4 pair of Finn Comfort shoes. It's hard to put on any other brand whenever I leave the house.

Not all that attractive, but amazingly comfortable! Essentially, they look a little clog-y, but not quite as much as Danskos. The comfort level, though, is amazing. I wore them for a 2 mile walk right out of the box, and they felt great. I want to wear them every day... Not chic and cool, but they work well with jeans.

An excellent shoe for those with nerve damage - My mother talked me into trying these shoes. I would not call them "stylish" but they aren't ugly as many of the comfortable shoes are. I bought these shoes before we went on vacation to Disney and did a LOT of walking in them the first seven days I had them. They were amazing! I have nerve damage in my feet (along with a nasty bunion) and have a really hard time finding shoes that don't make my feet feel worse than they already do. These shoes were perfect. I do want to add my feet did hurt the first day I wore them unlike many of the reviews I have read... It wasn't bad and by day 3 my feet were in complete heaven!

These shoes are great - I love Finn Comfort shoes, this is my 3rd pair, I have 1 pair of sandals, and another pair similar to these that are more of a clog style. I got the teak color in the Newports and I love them. They also have a back to them and don't require you to hold them on your feet with your toes. These are great shoes and would recommend them to anyone with flat feet.

Great shoe for those with foot pain! What these shoes lack in looks, they definitely make up in comfort. Despite the fact that I own "good" shoes (Birkenstocks, Dansko, Naot, etc), my feet still hurt most of the time (metatarsalgia and planter fasciitis). But after wearing these shoes for just a few minutes, all the pain is gone! I typically wear a size 8-81/2 (which would be a 39 according to Zappos size chart), but in these I own a 40 and find it fits perfect. (FYI: my feet are not somewhat narrow and I have high arches). I have worn them for over 2 years and still love them. They have held up well -- I am sure at some point I will purchase another insole for them, but for now the arch support is still far superior to any other shoe I own. Will definitely purchase more Finns!!

I'm a teacher. I'm 240 pounds, flat-footed, and on my feet for a minimum of 5 hours a day. Before I bought these shoes, my feet and calves were in agony. The pain disappeared immediately after I started wearing these shoes to work. I have worn them practically every day of the school year since then. My only complaint is that they do stretch out over time (in my case after 9 months of nearly constant use). So much so that they are no longer as comfortable for extended walking (a mile or so) as before. My feet now slip around in them a little bit, even with socks. On the other hand, they are still quite comfortable for work and they still look good. I highly recommend the Finn Comfort Newport if you need to be on your feet a lot. The black patent leather has been a great, fun and funky choice.

Like many Euro walking shoes, these run large, if you have a small foot (size 5 1\/2) like mine. Had to send them back for that reason.

Clunky but comfortable - This shoe was recommended to me by a friend, and I am happy with it. It is a bit "clunky" looking, but very comfortable to wear. My feet slip around a little inside (because my food is narrow, AA width), but I think in summer this will be a plus when my foot expands a bit. Good support (essential) and looks to be "indestructible".
