Extremely comfortable, supportive and nice-looking on the foot. A little clunky for skirts, but great with pants. The low-key metallic grey color goes with jean, blacks and greys.

I sent back the Chacos and the Keens. Having happy hogs is worth the hit to the check book! I have swallowed my pride and embraced the virtues of Velcro -- no longer, in my mind, confined to toddlers or geriatrics. I am able to adjust these shoes to fit all areas of my foot. The surgical disaster that passes as my instep is supported and happy. An added bonus: they make my 10 wides look slender and downright elegant. Shoes that can do that have my undying devotion.

Z-best most comfortable sandals (shoes) ever. There is nothing worse than a cheapo, vinyl par of sandals. No break in period, and get more comfortable as you go. I have a pair that are 3 yrs, and they are the best!

I bought both the Finn Soft Gomera and the Mephisto Altina to try for an upcoming trip to Europe. While at first, the Mephisto seemed the most comfortable right out of the box, I have decided the Finn Comfort fits my wide foot much better. As another reviewer has mentioned, the straps on Finns are a bit rough. It's not the underside that is rough (that's soft), it's the edge of the strap. That said, the more I wear these around the house, the more comfortable they become. These feel like they were made for my feet, and the arch support is excellent. The Mephisto sandal is made for a more narrow foot than mine. If you turn both shoes over, the Finn comfort has a wider sole (by about 3/4 inch). I hope this helps. I knocked one star off comfort due to the slightly rough edges of the straps, but that seems to be subsiding. The footbed is very comfortable. I wear an 8-8 1/2 and the 39 was a perfect fit. Also, the straps are fully adjustable, but they don't look like velcro straps!

I've been wearing this sandal for the last three weeks and I love them! They have great arch and metatarsal support, which I need for my plantar fasciitis and high arches. I can wear them without an orthotic and work all day as a teacher without pain. This sandal is the only shoe I am able to wear without an orthotic. It fits me perfectly because of the three velcro bands. I am a size 10m and a 41 works for me. I will purchase another pair as soon as my pocketbook will allow.

Finn Comfort shoes have got to be the most fantastic shoes ever made! These were my first pair, but I have purchased two more since and they are worth every penny. I'm a teacher and am on my feet all day. I'm also of the age to have leg pains -- no more! I put these on at home as soon as they arrived after a day of work and they made my feet and legs feel so good that I had the energy to iron clothes for about an hour with no leg pain. Amazing! As soon as it starts getting cooler weather I will buy some of the shoe styles. I can't imagine ever buying any other brand from now on.

Sole is a bit more flexible than my low arches can tolerate. The Finns with the rocker bottom provide more arch support. Still, cute and comfortable--just not for all day walking if you wear orthotics.

This is a comfortable walking sandal with good arch support. I already own one pair of Finn sandals and have worn them for three years long lasting shoes. I have wide feet, high arches, and high insteps and this shoe accommodates all problems.

I like Finn comfort shoes! I ordered these Gomera sandals a few weeks ago and have worn them many days since and no problems at all. Broke my hip the end of February these shoes have been a wise and wonderful investment to use during the healing and rehab process. Now I want one in every style and color. This is a very good looking shoe but as I wear a true US size 4-1/2 and this shoe runs 4-1/4 - 5 European size, it is too large for me.

This was to have been my second pair of Finn Comfort sandals. These sandals are extremely wide. I ordered my normal size and these are huge on my feet even when adjusted as tightly as possible. Disappointed as I like the other Finn Comfort sandals I have but these are going back. My rating reflects the sizing.

These did not work for me. I wear size 8, and they were true to fit, but straps were not comfortable and I did not realize they had poly soles. Too hard, non-cushioning. I expected more comfort for the money. My feet are sensitive.

I am very happy with everything about these sandals: the fit, the colour, the look, the support, the comfort. It all works. I bought the blue, but ordered the silver too in a smaller size to double check both size and colour, and I prefer the blue. And even though at first I thought it was too long, I could adjust the straps to accommodate this issue. The silver ones, being smaller, just made my feet look pudgy, while the longer footbed appeared more elegant to me. This sandal is a winner! Thanks very much, Finn Comfort and Zappos.
