Finn Comfort Reviews
I loved these shoes at first and then my ankles knees and hips were terribly pain. so much so, I stayed in bed two whole days and went to Dr. and got anti-inflamatories. Please think about the rocker soles!
This is my fifth pair of Jamaica shoes by Finn. Love love love them. I wanted a neutral light colored leather this time and the color is perfect. They are very comfortable.
Amazing shoes! Bought these for a trip to Disney. I wore them a couple of times to break them in. I wore these 12-15 hours a day and my feet NEVER hurt! So comfortable and no blisters!
I love these sandals. I have had them for four days, and worn them all day long for two of those days! Will be my travel shoes for sure, with easy off/on at the airport, and great comfort for city streets and museums! They are lightweight, but substantial feeling.

This is my third pair of this style of Finns. I love them. I have narrow feet, so I use stick-on industrial strength Velcro on the strap to tighten them. I have ordered two footbeds from the Finn Company, which extends the life of the shoes. I have a pronated arch and these work because of the excellent arch and being able to tighten the straps. I also have arthritic toes and the soft footbed works for that. I ordered one afternoon and got them the next morning! I love the free shipping both ways. Zappos and Finn Comfort are life savers for me.
These were ok, but too Euro Comfort looking on the foot for my taste. Seemed like they would take some breaking in to really be comfortable. I'm a 5.5 and ordered 36 following the size guide, but they were little too big. For the price I wasn't willing to risk them not working out since I wasn't in love with the look. Returned them.
I don't recall seeing mention that these were rocker shoes. They are horribly uncomfortable, and they are horrible for my bad knee! I wish I could also write that they had TOO MUCH arch support.
I love these shoes, but I thought the leather would be a lighter color. I already have this brown, so I order the CIGAR color, hoping it would be lighter. Will order another FINN comfort, maybe a different style. These are great for walking.
I really wanted these to work for me, but the sizing on them is bizarre. I normally wear a 41 in almost all European shoes. But the 41 in this style was entirely too small and narrow. Very uncomfortable. So I tried the 42. The left foot felt perfect, but the right foot was narrow and squeaked when I walked! After trying yet another pair, I'm finally giving up on these. Much too expensive to not be absolutely perfect...
Most close toe Finn run consistently small. This style is a little large in length and very roomy in toe. Normally go up in Soho, I stuck with original size in this style. I'm grateful for the room in this style as I can then wear them with thick, comfy socks! Also, I was concerned about the sometimes aggressive Finnamic footbed as I cannot wear Finnamic sandals, these are fine. Would highly recommend to anyone ready for a pair of Finn.
Worth every single penny! I have wide feet, plantar fasciitis, high arches and my feet normally ache all day long. I have never in my life paid this much for shoes but these are worth every penny! Face it, if you feet hurt, you are not a happy camper. I used to walk around the office thinking to myself "Wow..my feet are so screwed up..they always hurt". These shoes offer excellent support and are pretty stylish. I wear them with long black pants and nobody notices my feet anyway. I ordered two sizes, the woman's range for sizes 8 and the range for the larger size above an 8. I don't see a whole lot of difference in sizes so I am keeping both...at a high cost including tax and shipping. I don't care and I'm not rich and I am normally a very frugal person. I don't think I ever want to be without a pair of Finn's and I don't care about the cost. Plantar fasciitis is so painful and these sandals are exactly what my poor tootsies needed!
My first Finn Comfort shoes and I am sold! Great support and very comfortable for walking. I have arthritis in my knees and walking and standing can be painful. These shoes ease that problem -- well worth the price. I do not agree with the review that said these shoes were ugly -- nice looking for a comfort shoe and fine with nice slacks or more casual clothes.
Very comfortable for walking and standing. Great support -- these seem to ease pain in my arthritic knees. Fit was somewhat wide for my medium width feet, but easy to adjust with the straps. Great shoes!
Finn comfort shoes are the only shoes that I wear for everyday. I have had both feet broken and these give me great support and look good too. The straps are adjustable and the shoes wear for years. I vote yes for these. Zappos mailed them out so fast, I was surprised when they arrived.
I have rheumatoid arthritis and fallen arches, and, I wear an 11N. I can't find shoes that are comfortable on a good day. But I found Finn, and have been wearing Finn shoes for 10 years. The velcro closings on the "Sylt" style allowed the adjustment for my narrow feet. I even had the 10 year old pair resoled. I highly recommend them.
I was looking for comfortable sandals for a walking trip. I tried Mephisto Altina, Finn Comfort Gomera and Saloniki, and Naot Karenna. Gomeras were the clear winner and I'm quite happy with them so far. They have a back strap that is adjustable with a buckle but also opens and closes with a snap for quick on-off. I've worn them several days in a row in a heat spell and also just wore them on a 2-hour hike, and although one foot got a small blister by the end of the hike where I think I just hadn't adjusted the straps enough as my feet started to sweat and spread out, otherwise they held up great, no blisters on the other foot. The inside of the straps is just deliciously butter-soft and the workmanship of the whole shoe seems awesome. I think these are going to contribute quite a lot to my comfort on my trip!

I had some goldish Finns last year that were coated in a really stylist gold. Only problem is, the gold finish came off, and it's not as pretty without it. It's a bit patchy now, worn on the toes. I went to professional shoe people to see if they could recommend a polish or something, and no one could help me. Still I love the shoes. If these have a different finish, I'd like to know.
The strap fits too loosely in the front and I didn't like the elastic inserts. Shoe felt too loose compared to other Finn comforts I have worn.
This is my second pair of Finn Comfort Sansibar. I've owned my other pair for 3 years. This shoe holds up great and accommodates custom orthodics. Straps allow you to adjust fit. I loved this color...and only found it at Zappos. Zappos shipping and correspondence is excellent.
I loved the way that these looked, but they were too wide and I walked out of them easily. I own the Sterzing Boots (my first Finn Comfort purchase) and loved them, so I know that the quality is amazing. Even with adjusting the velcro, they were too loose. I tried them on with Smartwool footsies and they felt better, but I wanted to have the option of going barefoot in them. So, I will return them and look for another style.
