I love the shoes. I always order a 38, occasionally a 37 but never higher. I ordered these in a 38 but that was way too short in the toe so I exchanged that for a 39. Same story. Too short in the toe so they need to also go back. I would love enclosed dress shoes in a neutral color. This is the first but the sizing is all off! I love the shoes; wish they fit correctly. I have been wearing Finn Comfort for 30 years and have never encountered this problem.

Love these sandals. Even the Velcro is of outstanding quality. My feet have high arches and are wide. At home I sometimes wear these as slippers they are so comfortable. Support makes them well worth every penny and my back is never sore on the days I walk all day. My usual European size is 37; In Finn Comfort I wear a 36.

These shoes are very well made but run very small. I wear a size 9 1/2 to 10 medium and the 41 was way too small. Very unusual for this brand, the 41 usually fits me with room to spare.

The shoe will probably be excellent in the long run. it is taking a while to break in. It runs more narrow than most B's.

I love these shoes! They have removable footbeds for orthotics, but they have so much arch support already that I haven't used the orthotics. I was afraid at first the support was too rigid -- almost like walking on wooden clogs -- but they quickly conformed to my feet. Now I could walk all day in these sandals, and that's unheard of for me. They are shockingly expensive for a pair of sandals, so they'd better last the rest of my life. But I am so grateful to have found them. Now just need more colors.

Love the shoe however, it runs small. Had to return as they did not have a size 43 currently available. I needed them right away. Had to buy from another site.

I really wanted to hate these shoes because of the money, but they are really wonderful. I got them in red and they are adorable! I usually wear a 6 in sandals, but a 6 1/2 in closed shoes, so I ordered the 6 1/2. I found the sizing to be perfect. The toe box is roomy, like clogs, so you can actually wiggle your toes. The arch support takes the pressure off my heels, one of which has a heel spur and usually hurts when I walk, but in these shoes I am comfortable. If I can grin and bear the price, I may just buy another pair!

All I can say is "wow." These are really comfortable! The Scandinavians really know how to make a comfortable shoe! I wish they were just slightly less bulky looking, which is why they rate a "4" out of "5" in style, and take the overall rating down to a "4," but their comfort has few equals. Naot and Birkenstocks come to mind, but these had more color choices than Naot and give a slightly more sophisticated look than Birks. For the price, they should be comfy! Let's hope they last and last. I don't mind paying a lot for an extremely well fitting shoe, if they do the job. I live in sandals all summer long, so they've got to be close to perfect.

I ordered the Finn Comfort Bellevue in blue, my usual size 39. For reference, my foot is somewhat slender, but I can usually wear a medium width shoe. The Bellevue runs just a bit short for a size 39. There is good support and my heel does not slip, something that I watch with this brand of shoe. Style is definitely a European look, with extended sole and contrast stitching. The toe area is rather flat, and at least for me, means a very thin sock if any at all. Blue is a nubuck that looks good with jeans and is attractive for a casual comfort shoe.

I wear a custom orthotic so I'm on a constant search for finding shoes that have some style but can be used with the orthotics. This shoe has a removable footbed. My shoemaker added a piece to the toe area so that the orthotic fits in and isn't visible. Hurray sandals for hot TX weather.

I had bought a pair of Finn Comfort shoes in 2008! I loved them and was told they would last forever! Well, sorry to say, they did not! In 2012, they fell apart! They were expensive then and I cannot afford to by them at the price they are now!

This is a beautiful silver shoe. Sadly, I am returning it because the footbed is "Classic" and not "Soft". The description says is is a "Soft" footbed, but I could tell right away that it was not. Then I looked on the box, and it says the footbed is "Classic". I'm so disappointed. I wish I could keep it because it is so exquisite, but the "Classic" footbed is just not comfortable to me.

I bought these and with little preparation, jumped with them onto a plane for a business trip. A little stiff but otherwise fine right out of the box -- I was able to walk over a mile the first day with no blisters, no smashed toes, no wear and tear on the back of my heel. I'd purchased a full size up in order to wear with padded socks for winter, and the plan worked well. The only "problem" is that I have to retire them for the summer!

This sandal fit well and seemed comfortable, but just too clunky looking. I might have kept it, but couldn't see spending this much for a shoe I didn't find at all attractive.

This is the second pair of Finn shoes I bought within the past 2 months. They have a great non-slip, shock absorbing sole. I hate having cramped toes and enjoy the roomy feel of the medium width. A quality shoe with great arch supports. Kind of ugly, but the fit is worth it.

I got these shoes as a gift for my husband. He loved them right out of the box. No breaking in required.

These sandals seem really great, but oh boy are they heavy. Not practical when planning to pack as light as possible. Also, the sizing is odd. 38 was too short and 39 is a bit too long.

I purchased these Alamos last year and during normal daily wear the soles began to unglue from the shoe after two months. I currently have both shoes held together with tons of Shoo-Goo as the soles continue to completely fall off around the toe sections back to about the midway area of the shoes. I contacted Finn Comfort customer service and explained the issue only to be told that they would be happy to repair them at NuShoe. I feel that these glued-on soles are a design flaw and noticed that Finn Comfort realized this themselves and introduced the same model shoe with the exception of a stitched sole; the Nantes. I would not recommend the Alamos due to poor construction. If you really like the style go with the Nantes instead. Or better yet, my new favorite shoes are Mephisto. I have purchased five pairs of Finn Comfort shoes over the past ten years with the Alamo being the first failed pair. After this slap in the face by Finn Comfort customer service I will not purchase any more of their shoes and instead invest my money in Shoo-Goo to maintain them. It is disheartening to invest so much in shoes that fall apart in a couple of months; I can get that at Wal-Mart. Please look into Mephisto shoes as they are truly well built. They are a bit heavier than Finn Comfort, but you get quality, and support that easily surpasses the Finn Comfort. When you examine Mephistos in your hand you will notice the high quality pretty quickly. I can still remember the first time I tried them on, stood up, and began to walk at how amazingly comfortable these shoes are. It is your money. Invest it wisely. I guess it is pretty easy for me to say for myself and to others, so long Finn Comfort.

Finn comfort is the very best shoes. construction and make are excellent. I wear a 7.5, or a 38 in Finns. however, my toes are squished together, and after a few hours of wear in my other styles of Finn comforts that I decided to keep, my little toe get very red from rubbing at the sides. They do not look like they would be narrow, but they were for me and I would buy them all if they would make them with a wider footbed.

I like the feel of this shoe but it is about 1/2 size to short for me. I'm going to re-order in a half size larger. Excellent support and the quality of craftsmanship cannot be bettered. I hope the larger size will work for me.

I absolutely love these shoes and I receive compliments a lot when I wear them. As most of us know, it can be difficult to find stylish shoes in the Finn-Comfort selection, but these popped out right away when I was scanning through what is being offered. They are comfortable, practically perfect. A little more cushion would be nice. But next time I find myself with a lot of money to spare, maybe I will order another pair, perhaps in blue.
