These shoes look good, are comfortable right out of the box, and are true to size (I'm a 6.5-7 and the 37 was good with socks). Problem for me: I have very weak ankles after many injuries, and the tapered heel renders these shoes unstable on uneven surfaces for someone with my problems. For someone without the instability caused by weak ankles, I'd give these a try.

What a great shoe! Wore them 8 hours at work the first day I got them. No breaking in required. Perfect height heel. I and 5'10" and enjoy a shoe with a heel for dresses, but not too high.

Love. Worth the investment. I wear between a 8.5 -9 US and almost always a 39. I bought the 39 and they fit like they were made for me. They are roomy enough in the toe box (I have wide-ish feet). Don't slip in the heel. They are not padded; however, they fit my feet so well, I am keeping them.

This is a beautiful, comfortable shoe. The color is unique, and I have received many compliments on them, from men and women alike. I will definitely be ordering at least one other pair of Fidjis! And I am usually a very thrifty shoe buyer, but these are just nice enough for me to spend the extra money for a great shoe.

Leather has an oxidized appearance that I did not care for. A co-worker told me the "vintage/antiqued" leather is the current "look" (but not for me).
