I simply love this shoe. I am a huge fan of Evolv and the Predator does it all, pockets, steep bouldering, all plastic, and super steep sport. The G2 is leaps and bounds more precise and techy than the original Predators. Love 'em.

These are great shoes for climbers who want to push up a level and start climbing harder. They have an incredible down turned tow that makes it great for overhangs or any small foot holds. The fit is surprisingly comfortable but still tight enough for the shoe not to come off while doing a heel hook. I definitely recommend this shoe to anyone who's starting to get serious about climbing. Great product overall!

These shoes are the business. I was hesitant about switching shoes and these totally impressed me; I won't go back to others.

The perfect combination of comfort and technical ability. If you want solid performance without giving up comfort look no further. The heel cup holds solid and the Trax rubber is second to none.

Great technical shoe. The rubber is as good or better than anything out there. Very secure feeling - precise on edges and heel hooking. Loads of toe power! My favorite high performance shoe I have ever tried (have used Sportiva, Five-Ten, Mad-Rock). My go to shoe for hard climbing! I found them to fit slightly tighter than the Talons - maybe .25-.5 size smaller.

These shoes practically do the climbing for you. Especially on overhanging terrain and bouldering on plastic. Not to mention, I've never worn such a durable shoe before! Evolv makes a really good, affordable, durable shoe. It took me almost a year to wear down the rubber. And when I finally did, the uppers were still looking like new. They were in such good shape I couldn't justify getting a new pair; I send them back to evolv's Yosemite Bum resooling company to be resoled. And the turnaround time was excellent. I had them back in no time!

Don't waste your money. Although shoes broke in well, and fit comfortably, they were not durable. Within three weeks of indoor climbing, the left toe wore through. It seems Evolv still has not learned to thicken up the toe. Also the rubber rand is far too soft at the toe, making it very difficult to stick small chips and flakes. And the smell, I figured the problem was only limited to Defy's but apparently not. Washing hasn't helped. I've owned 4 pairs of Evolv's and this is certainly my last.

This shoe is excellent for bouldering. Stiff, snug, aggressively down-turned. The generous heel rubber (and foot-huggging fit) make for excellent heel-hooking. Downturned toe works very well. Best use is on steep terrain (vs vert., edging, and smearing). I sized mine very tight, but they they fit my foot very well.
