"Awesome, Mom!" These shoes are a big hit with my 3rd grade son. The kids on the bus love the shoe laces. They fit well and have the perfect amount of padding for skater dudes. These rise a little bit higher on the ankle than typical shoes, which both my boys find to be very comfortable.

Nice looking shoe. Have purchased other Etnies that held up well, but this one developed one inch cracks in the rubber toes after one week. Perhaps it was just a bad pair. Zappos customer service did an amazing job of helping out with the problem.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

My 12 year old son really wanted these shoes and is completely satisfied with them. They are the style he wanted. These shoes seem pretty durable. He did wear them for a full day of walking one day and his ankles hurt at the end of the day. Both my kids have wanted Etnies and the only place we've been able to find what they want is Zappos. Love Zappos!

This style of Etnies fits my son's slightly wide and high foot nicely. He is very picky when it comes to how his shoes fit. He does not like a snug fit. I tried them on since we are the same size now and they are pretty comfy. Personally I prefer more arch support, but that doesn't seem to bother my 9 year old. Etnies hold up great.

I would never recommend these shoes. After 2 weeks they were falling apart sent in for another pair and in less than a week the bottoms are spill in.

My son loved the style and comfort, but 3 days later, the shoelaces fell apart. They are so delicate, the couldn't withstand any hardship. He only stepped on the laces once and they fell apart. One of the reasons we bought the sneakers is that the laces looked so cool; well, only for a week, because then we had to replace the laces with plain black ones that are still holding up.

My son love these shoes...that is, until after only a week the sole separated from the back of the shoe. We returned them for the same shoe, since he loved them so much, and the same thing happened again. There's no reason for a shoe to fall apart after only a week of wear and there is obviously a manufacturer's defect happening here. In the end, we had to get a different shoe. If you're looking for a good shoe, that will stand up to active boy play, this is not the one.

Cool style and my 4 year old likes them. The only problem is that the top lace holes are not punched correctly so you can't lace the top part of the shoe. We decided to just punch a hole ourselves instead of sending them back.

These sneakers lasted 7 weeks. The sole is completely worn through. My son has owned DC sneakers before, and they lasted more than 6 months with the same level of wear and tear! I am disappointed in these sneakers and won't buy etnies for him again.

These are lovely looking shoes that are comfortable but my eight year old son went through the sole in just two weeks! That was not good. Obviously a really thin sole. Do not waste your money on these.
Brands I'd also recommend: Not Vans as they are about as bad when it comes to how long they last

No arch support, very little padding. Poke inside heel and see your finger come through the outside sole. Want to give your child foot problems, then buy these. 2 weeks and off to dr.

I had to have them but I wore them for 2 weeks and went easy on them. Next time I walked there was a huge rip in the bottom and the bottom almost came off, even after my dad glued the bottom 2 times. Finally after a few moths of having a I need new sneakers. Not worth the money!
