These shoes are totally awesome! I am a thirteen year old girl and I have had these shoes for almost two years now. These shoes have been through three camps (one of which I accidentally stepped in a swamp, and these shoes were easily cleaned), an assortment of beach visits, and hard landings at the skate park. I am a surfer and skater and I love these shoes; they have excellent grip that last virtually forever, and the lace up style helps me easily slip them on and off, while still having good support. Some shoes if you try and slip them on and off the are too loose, but these shoes practically stick to your feet like glue. They have extra squishy padding all around the heel and in the sole. I recommend these shoes for every surfer and skater out there who needs a good pair of long lasting shoes.
I'd also recommend: DCs, but Etnies are a lot cheaper and last longer... :)

My 10 year old loves these sneakers. She said not only are they great looking but very comfortable. I had to get her another pair if not she would wear these every day. She was excited to get so many compliments from teachers and students at school.

Cute shoe. Our daughter loves them and they have more padding and structure than her Vans which got really torn up from playing at school.

Really cute shoe, but etnies laces are too short. Kids like to wear these shoes wide, not tight, so shoelaces barely tie up.
I'd also recommend: DC

My daughter loves these shoes. They are adorable. We had trouble getting them on at first, because the tongue is so thick. I've never seen a pair of shoes with a thick, padded tongue. But she's used to it now, and likes the shoes!
