Overall:

I bought these as an alternative everyday school shoe for my 6 year old who wears mainly Converse. I wanted something green (his favorite color) and something a little warmer/thicker for the colder/wetter days ahead. These are great. The only thing I don't really like about them is that the tongue of the shoe is really puffy, almost to the point where I can barely get the laces around to fully tie the shoes. Other than that, we all love them. They are warm, sturdy and cool. Fits true.

Love this shoe. My daughter is 2 and can take them off and put them on herself which is a huge help. They are very roomy and stylish. We will order these or similar shoes every year.

Already ripped at the seam. These shoes were not even worn every day by my 7 year old son and they have a huge hole across the top of the shoe, right at the seam. I am very disappointed as we have had other etnies shoes that have held up until my boys have outgrown them!

My sister-in-law is the person who told me about your site. The only thing that I would have to complain about is the amount of diverse choice on the American site compared to the Canadian site. We had to shop on the American site and have it shipped to a friend in the states who then had to forward it to us here in Canada. The product choice was just better through that site. The product itself was great, good quality and shipping was fast.

I bought these shoes for my 14 month old son. He normally unties his shoes and tries to eat the ends of the laces. The velcro "fake laces" on these shoes are great. He hasn't tried to take these off yet! Also, he is known for being a little bugger when it comes to putting the shoes on. These are so easy to put on. Once you open the velcro and pull up the tongue, it basically opens up the entire top of the shoe. It makes it very easy and fast! Also, he has wide feet and these fit him very well and he seems comfortable in them! Plus, they are adorable. I get compliments on them all the time. I recommend them to everyone!

This is our second pair of Etnies. Comfortable and stylish. The sole is almost completely worn out after one month.

My 8 year old son spotted a pair of "cool" Etnies in a local skate shop. Unfortunately, they didn't have his size in stock. I came home and checked Zappos and thankfully they had the same shoe in his size. The best part is they were somewhat cheaper! The shoes arrived the very next day, and my son couldn't be happier! Thanks Zappos!

Another great shoe from Etnies. My daughter loves this shoe - it\'s cute, really comfortable, they fit well, and they\'re easy to get on and off. I have yet to be disappointed by an Etnies shoe.

Although I really like these shoes for my young boys, they dirty very easily and don't clean very well. Also, the fake laces are already coming out of the strap they are in.

My daughter loves these shoes! They seem pretty true to size. They are comfortable although kind of clunky, but that's the style. A possible downside is that the laces can be hard to tie because, having to cross all that padding, they are pretty short.

My kid gets a lot of compliments on these. I like them because they are easy to put on my squirmy 2 year old. It may not be obvious from the photo, but they have a really wide velcro flap with faux laces. I also like them because they are soft enough on the inside that they can be worn without socks, and the tongue goes down far enough that you can pull them open wide to air them out.

Very sturdy shoe, my grandson is very hard on shoes and these lasted a long time. The were still in good shape except his feet grew out of them. The lasted all school year.

My son picked out the sneakers for himself. We ordered them around 7 pm and they were at the door when I got home at 5 pm the next day. Unfortunately, they didn't fit so I called Zappos to find out what I could do. They said they would mail out a new pair and I should return the first pair. By the time I got home the next day, the 2nd pair was already delivered! I did not pay for shipping either way for either pair. My husband did not believe that I did not pay for overnight shipping. He was more impressed than I was. I will definitely shop with Zappos every time I can because buying shoes on line is a gamble as far as fit, and Zappos makes it painless.

It's hard to tell when a 2-year-old likes or does not like shoes, words like "feels a little tight in the toe, but slips at the heel" do not come out of my son's mouth at this age. But he wears these Kobos where he was unable to keep other flip-flop type sandals without back straps on his feet. The soles seem a little thinner and harder than on an average flip flop, but the entire sandal is sturdy and they do stay on. (A child that small is not bothered by the hardness of a sole, either. My son is barely out of slipper socks and goes barefoot around the house.) The back strap is elasticized yet still soft enough not to rub. All in all, it is a good high-summertime very casual sandal.
