Awesome feel, poor lifetime. I picked up this shoe because it just looked so sick. I tried it on and it felt great, too! It didn't need any time to break it and it performed really well on my first sesh out. The bad thing about it, though, is that it didn't last long at all. I don't know if my shoe had a defect in it, but it literally just blew up. The stitching all came off the sides and couldn't hold itself together any longer so I had to throw it away within the first few weeks of moderate skating time. I would pick it up again to see if mine was just a bad pair, but overall I loved the shoe while it lasted and would recommend it to anyone that loves a comfortable shoe that can perform well out of the box.

ES has been in the skate shoe game long enough to get most things right. I've rarely had a shoe that I didn't care for from them, but this is unfortunately one of them. The Slant is a bit slimmer than most of the other shoes. While it's otherwise comfortable, my wider foot doesn't sit as well in this as Square Ones, Accels or most other ES shoes. I definitely appreciate a non-vulcanized skate shoe, but whatever they've done here looks and feels clunky. Wasn't very impressed with this shoe in person as I am with how it looks on the web. Downsides of internet shopping I suppose.

Ordered these shoes for a 15 year old boy. The shoes were great. True to size and comfortable. He liked the look. The ordering was easy through Zappos and we got the shoes quickly.

I'm a chick! So girls, go one size down from your original size (I wear a six). I love these colors and they're not pink!

I was looking forward to this shoe as I heard the upper construction is sturdy and the cupsole provides good support and cushioning. Those two characteristics turned out to be true. However, these shoes have absolutely zero arch support. The sti footbed that they repeatedly brag about is completely flat. If it is intended to form to your foot, that would leave only minimal arch and paper-thin cushioning under your heel, since it's only 1/8in to begin with. Normally, I would just replace it with a different insole, but the heel cup is also too low. So low that it doesn't hold my heal in, which would be much worse if I replaced the insole with one with more arch. If I tightened the laces enough to hold my foot in, I'd look like I was wearing footballs.

This is a great shoe. I have it in a different color but it's very comfy and has good board feel and also great support it. I've had mine for 5 days it is kind of already tearing but I still like the shoe a lot and you should get it too!
