I loved this boot in a local store ordered it off Zappos came super quick but was a little too tight returned and ordered a whole size up fit even tighter. Now I think I just need to try a different boot. I loved the look and quality of the leather but I am afraid to order another pair. Probably just a fluke.

These boots are amazing. The leather is incredibly soft on the outside, and the inside is a fuzzy suede-esque microfiber (or maybe it is suede -- I can't tell!). I have the taupe, and the color is amazing. I generally wear them with brown toned stuff, but the color is close enough to grey that I can match them with grey/black outfits too. I bought these boots before a visit to France, and I wanted a pair of classy boots (so that I wouldn't stick out like an American tourist), but that were also comfortable enough to walk in all day. These completely fit the bill. The heel is just high enough to give some height, but is totally comfortable to walk in. These were perfect. I have defined calves (not sticky straight legs), but very slender ones (I'm 5'7" and 115 lbs), so finding boots that look good is a bit of an issue. These are fitted enough that I can wear them with tights (there's enough slouch that they are not skin tight by any means), but I can also tuck skinny jeans into them. On the heel height/comfort subjects, I live in San Francisco (which is crazy hilly) and I've walked in them all day routinely -- no small feat for any height heel. I'm a scientist who works on my feet, and these boots are not a problem at work either. The buckles are really cute too. One thing I would note is that the lining is not thick, so these are not warm boots. With normal socks, they were completely fine for Parisian autumn (and are totally fine in SF as well), but I wouldn't recommend them as cold weather boots in the northeast or midwest. They are simply not warm enough for winter (and I doubt they'd hold up well in snow). My size is in between an 8.5 and 8 (it just completely depends on the shoe) -- these are European and run a little small, so I got the 39 (listed as 8.5 - 9). Given that I wear them with socks, it's a perfect fit. An issue I've had is that on the right boot, the leather of the sole (just the heel part) popped off a little within days of my getting them. I've been wearing them for 6 months, and still haven't fixed it (I have no glue!), but I just wanted to make note of it. Overall, though, I couldn't recommend these boots more.

Love this boot! So cute on. Nice soft leather. It doesn't have a lot of cushion on the sole, but I have worn them for long periods of time, and my feet have been fine! I have a regular width foot, and it seemed a teeny narrower (but still OK) than other boots I have worn. Again...Love them!

I love these boots! They're super cute, the leather is really soft, and they look great with jeggings. But perhaps the best thing for me is that they're comfortable, and with two big bunions, it's not easy to find really wearable boots (or shoes, for that matter). I'll definitely keep an eye out for other Eric Michael shoes.

GREAT color. GREAT fit. SO comfortable. I bought them with overnight shipping to take to my 5-day trip to DC the next day, because I am a planner like that, and I wore them everywhere and they caused no blisters or pinching. Color goes with everything. Wonderful.

Love these boots! I had been looking for a moderate heel boot for everyday wear and these were perfect! I love the scrunch and the buckles in the shaft of the boot. I wore these boots in NYC and I was able to walk around comfortably for a few hours. They're great for everyday wear because the heel isn't high, but they add a little more sexiness than flat boots.

Technically I have not worn these yet, but when they arrived at close to 6PM I nearly went and changed my clothes to match the boots because I was so pleased with them. If it wasn't snowing at the time... My husband also just pronounced them sexy. I have never seen this brand before as I usually shop exclusively in narrows, but I stumbled on these while looking for 11 1/2s before narrowing the search. I read where someone said they were kind of shallow in the toes. So are my feet, and that really helped me decide to order. I expected to need thick arch support insoles in them because they are medium width, but I don't. It feels like a miracle that they fit so well. I will use some kind of thinner insole for comfort and to help reduce slippage on my smaller foot. They do actually have a nice arch support built in, but I need higher support most of the time. It is tricky to find footwear for my mismatched feet when the best size is 11.5 Narrow and most manufacturers don't make that size, even when they do make size 12 Narrow. I am glad to see a conversion that is 11-12. I was actually looking for grey boots, but blue caught my eye and will be such a treat to wear with jeans tucked in or dresses. One would never find these if one set out looking for denim blue boots. Oh, one thing: These boots come up to 6 inches below the bottom of my knee caps. I am quite tall and I measured. The spot where they stop is just where my calves are the widest and they do just barely go around at that spot (I don't have wide calves for my overall size), but there would be no hope of tucking in jeans unless I scrunch them down which just happens to work beautifully. I don't understand why the zipper does not go all the way up on so many boots these days, but whatever. The foot feels good so far and I can hardly wait for an occasion to wear them out.

I bought these boots in the brown and blue. They are good looking boots. I got plenty compliments when I wore them home on Thanksgiving and when I wore them to work. Not only do they look good, but they are so comfortable.

These boots are worth every penny! Sizing was accurate for my 8 1/2 feet although I do not have a very wide foot. I ordered the blue and I am so glad I did; it's a unique color and I love it! From the minute I put them on I was in heaven. The leather is so soft and the lining is very soft, too. The heel height is perfect. I'm not able to wear a very high heel and these give a nice look and are still comfortable. I can see myself wearing these for years; the style is classic but still has a little funk. They look great with leggings and skinny jeans and I love that they are not black, but still go with everything. I see people checking them out often as I'm walking down the street.

The boots are very beautiful, which is why I don't regret that I bought them. They do run short though. But the biggest problem is that the heel wears out really fast and now the leather on the heal peals, and looks ugly. Low quality of workmanship.

Soft, leather, nice height but the foot bed is incredibly hard and somewhat wide all around, and it doesn't feel snug. The heel made out of leather is a disaster. The minute it gets dents, there is no repairing there. I will be returning these.

I am returning these. First, the sizing shows 41 is US size 10-11, which can vary greatly. I'm a pretty solid 10 .5 Medium and my toe hit the end and they were pretty snug all around. And I am just not crazy for how the heel looks. It's hard to be specific, but I think there are cuter options.

Very nice boots but they were too large at the top and the left one kept sliding down my leg a bit. Noticed that the the left boot had less "scrunch" then the right one so they didn't look like they were a pair (size 40). Sending them back via the EXCELLENT AND FREE return service!!
