I have been wearing these boots for about three weeks now and overall I am very pleased. I went to great lengths to find the right pair of boots and read a million reviews in the process, so I thought I would share my own impressions to help others in their quest for a good pair of boots! I was looking for something with a fairly flat heel, decent traction, and somewhere between casual and dressy so that I could wear them with jeans or leggings and also with a skirt for work. These boots fit that bill perfectly. My bigger challenge was to find a boot that worked with my extremely skinny legs. It's really hard to find a narrow calf circumference in a boot that also has the above-mentioned qualities. Though these are not advertised as narrow, they work just fine! They don't "hug" my thin calves but only a custom-made boot would do that. I'm just happy they fit well enough in this regard. I also found that they needed no breaking in and have been extremely comfortable from day one. Here are my two minor complaints: 1) I ordered them in taupe, because dark brown was not available in my size, and I had read that the taupe was still plenty brown and rich in tone. I find that they have a much duller/rustic finish than I would have liked, so if you really want a rich chocolatey brown with a bit of sheen, order the dark brown. 2) After I adjusted the buckles around the ankle to make them snugger (which is a feature I love), the buckles began to make a jingling sound when I walk. This has not gone away and I can't figure out the exact source of it. Mildly irritating, but I try to think of these as musical boots! Overall these are a great pair of boots for the price.

Love, love, love these boots. The taupe is a beautiful, deep brown, so don't worry about it being too light. It has a nice, slightly aged look to the leather (which has that great leather smell), and looks more expensive than they are. I trend wider in the toe box, but these, with the B width, felt great and very true to size--no need for me to order up (this is comfort is consistent with all Enzo shoes, I think). I have fat calves, but they have the little bit of stretch and a nice backing on the zipper so I didn't zip my skin. Once zipped, my legs look fabulous. Overall, great boot, great price. Oh, and I forgot to sign into the Zappos VIP page, but they still shipped free overnight. Thank you, Zappos!

CHRISTMAS HAS COME EARLY! Oh my word! These boots are simply fantastic. I received my boots today via express 1 day shipping. I love this about ZAPPOS VIP. Its such a great perk. Anyway these boots are like butter. I ordered a size 9 --true to size. Love the dark rich color. Love the detail. They look a lot more expensive then the price. I have been looking for a cute pair of riding type boots for 6 + weeks. I was nervous to buy b/c I wanted to make sure I picked a pair that would go with everything and last. Finally this week I decided that I had to buy. I had a feeling that these boots would be great and they are! Enzo really does beautiful job. Can not say enough about these boots. I've been reading a lot about calf size. These fit great in the calves. I feel supported and they are very comfortable. I am a 5'6 128 lbs. Love ENZO SPORTY! Thanks Zappos.

Shoes look exactly in the picture. The calf is a little big, but it's great because instead of wearing skinny jeans you can wear regular jeans with them. They are very comfy and stylish.

I loved these boots! However, they were very tight in the calf and I wouldn't have been able to wear anything at all inside of the boots and still zip them. I would definitely re-order them if they would make them in a wide-calf boot. I was very disappointed that I had to return them. They really are beautiful boots!
