I guess I was expecting more from this boot. I read the item description and I really wanted to like the boot, but it falls short of my expectations. Here's what was good about it: treated sheepskin, durable rubber on the sole, and a removable foot bed. When I tried on the boot, I had to do a "double take". Am I putting it on the right foot? The treated sheepskin feels a bit rough--kind of like suede. The wool inside was not nearly as soft or thick as the Ugg classic. It seems like a boot that will definitely last and it looks extremely similar to Uggs. I'd recommend this to anyone who hasn't tried on Uggs...or someone looking for a boot that's gonna last. Good luck shoe shopping.

I love these shoes. Have them in black and brown. I usually wear a seven but got them in a six because they stretch out and I knew that from previous pairs. I love that I can just slip them on barefoot. My feet don't sweat and there's fur lining from the top to the toe.

I normally wear a 9.5-10, so I ordered a 9 and a 10 to see which fit better. The 10's actually feel a little snug, even with bare feet, so I'll be keeping these and sending the 9 back. Once these stretch, they may be a teeny bit too big, but nothing a pair of socks won't fix. I absolutely recommend EMU boots to anyone who wants a super stylish boot with superior quality! My only complaint is that I'll never want to take them off.

I originally had the Stinger Hi and loved them. Unfortunately, they met an untimely death. I decided to go with the Lo this time around. I absolutely love them. They\'re warm, comfortable and I never want to take them off. I can\'t find Emus in stores where I live. And despite all the hype over Uggs, I prefer these. I ordered mine from Emus website, but only because it entered me into a contest. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Do not buy this shoe if you have already owned/tried on Uggs. The sheepskin is nowhere near as good quality as Ugg. I'm in the market for new Uggs as I have had mine for 6 years. I would rather spend the extra money for Uggs since I know how long they last. The outside quality and shoe base was just fine, but the inside seemed scratchy in comparison and bits came off as I tried them on.

Not all are created equal! Love Zappos, but recommend buying Emus directly from Emu! I did but had my boots got hung up in US Customs. I became frustrated waiting so ordered from Zappos. I have both pairs and there is a big difference. Emu's from Zappos are made in China and are not nearly as nice and comfortable. They felt like they were on the wrong foot and the lining is not nearly as soft and plush. I love the boots, but will be returning the pair to Zappos!

I love these boots so much I won't wear them outside, lest they become dirty. They are so cozy and soft, and provide better support than I expected. Have never worn Ugg's, so can't compare. I wear a 7.5 sandal and 8 enclosed shoe, got these in a 7 and they are perfect.

It was a very good product, but I thought the boot was taller. I will continue to use Zappos in the future. Good company. Good products & prices.

If I would have known what I know now I would have kept these in a heartbeat. When first putting these on I had a very difficult time with the opening not being wide enough for my in-step (the top angle of foot). Once on they were very snug on the top. Now that I have and absolutely love the lower version of these which I had the same problem with I have discovered the mouth of the boot does loosen up as needed. Yes, it may be a bit tight for the first few wears but for the comfort they offer afterward it is well worth it. Emu does something Ugg does not...their boot design allows for people with high in-steps to wear this style of boot that is an A+. Only thing that bothered me is this is one of the few styles they make that is supposed to still be made in Australia. It was not; it was made in China. Sorry, I want my money to go into a higher paying economy to boost the world economy.

I usually wear an 8, but the 7 fit just right. I ordered the identical boot from Uggs to compare. The differences were that the Uggs inside were softer but inferior quality. Emu's sheepskin is much thicker and comfy, though scratchier. And this pair of Uggs was made so the arch was too small, and I don't have a big arch. But I couldn't get them on and off comfortably. Granted, the Uggs were a little trimmer in the ankle, which looks better. But I kept the Emu’s because all these boots look ugly to me, and I will wear them for the warm comfort!

Surprisingly, this style ran exact to what my foot measurement is (every other Emu and it is fair to say I have tried on about 3/4 of all Zappos have to offer run about 1/2 size large). I do have a wide foot and high in-step which this boot is very accommodating for. I do have extremely high arches so I am going to assume someone with average height arches would get some support as the wool forms to the feet (so I denoted moderate arch support but I personally feel no support) Another positive about this boot is the insole is removable/replaceable so as long as you know how to take the proper care of the exterior of boot you can enjoy these boots for many years with only having to replace the insole when needed. Gotta love my Emus!

I have bought UGG shoes for as long as I can remember and always liked the look of emu's better but never gave them a try because they weren't UGG shoes until I bought these! I love them! They are so comfy and I think they look ten times better than UGG shoes when they are on your feet. They are cuter and not as bulky around the toe in my opinion. Give them a try!

This is my third pair of Emus, and my others show very little wear. I love the new charcoal color. Although they look, feel and wear much like Uggs, they have a wider toe area and more room in the calf. They do tend to run small. I always order a 9 and my regular shoe size is 7 or 8, depending on shoe. They're my favorite hanging around the house shoes, and I highly recommend them.

I am in love with these shoes. Since they arrived, I've worn them almost exclusively. The first day, I wore them around the house and reluctantly removed them to shower. They run a bit large. I usually wear 6 or 6.5 for flats, 7.5 for running shoes. I bought the 6 and 7 -- in the 7's, my heels slipped up and down, so I chose the 6s. Within a day, they broke in so that they're now perfect. I love the green, and I think these are much cuter than Uggs. They don't have much arch support, in fact I was confused at first which one was left and which one was right. My feet have never been cold, nor sweaty. Even while wearing them for an 8 hour shift on my feet, my feet were comfortable, not sore, tired or hot. Every time I put these on, I think to myself, "I love these!"

These boots are super comfy, and the dark brown is a beautiful, warm shade. Very nice! They do run smaller than Uggs though. I am a 8 1/2 and usually order size 8 Uggs, but needed a 9 in these. Awesome boots! Zappos ships so fast too, great service.

In my deliberation process between Uggs and Emus, one thing that puts me off about Uggs is that tufts of wool keep shedding on to my carpet. But two things that turn me off about Emus are the club-shaped toe and slippery sole. I tried not to sell out to trends by considering Emus, but sadly it appears that Ugg does have more of a sophisticated design rationale.
