I bought these for my 11 year old daughter. She has a pair of the low wool Emu boots already and has loved them. We upgraded her to the Hi Sheepskin and she won't take them off!

Heavier and stiffer than Uggs. Over the years, I have bought numerous pairs of Uggs for my three growing daughters. They have always loved them. My littlest daughter is seven and growing so quickly, I thought that I'd save some money and try the EMUs. My daughter, who is not brand conscious, complains that these new boots are heavy and hard to walk in. I also noticed that several of the seams have hanging/loose threads both in and out of the boots. Next time, I'm going to stick with the Uggs!

Overall, these boots are very nice. My daughter really likes them. She is very picky about comfort and if something doesn't feel just right, she won't wear it, especially shoes. She immediately said that these were very comfortable. As far as size goes, I feel like they are pretty true to any other shoe or boot that we have in the same size. My daughter has sort of a narrow foot and I think these boots are probably a better choice for her than the UGG brand because they seem a little bit narrower and look a little less floppy than the UGG to me.

I bought these for my 11 year old. She wore them for a week and the top trim began to unravel. I figured it was just a flawed pair since I have a pair I've had for years and they are still looking great. Zappos was great and quickly exchanged them. We got a new pair the very next day but after just wearing them once they are unraveling again!

Love. I always buy EMUs for my daughter. She's 11 now and wanted the higher top. Of course, the trend is Uggs, but when I compare, you save a little money, and the quality is fantastic. She has tried on her friend's Uggs and when I asked if she wanted a pair, she said she liked her EMUs better. In my opinion, from what I see from some of our friends, they hold up better than Uggs. I have Ugg clogs myself. I love them. But are they any better than EMU? No.

These boots are great! My daughter has Ugg boots and they are very close in comparison. The Emu boots do have that tiny little lift in the front of the boot at the toe. I like this feature because here in the Northwest we do have quite a bit of rain and it seems to protect the toe from getting wet more than her Ugg boots. They are very comfortable, stylish and well made. We have two pair in this style we like them so much!

I bought these for my daughter who is in 4th grade for Christmas and they are a much more affordable version of Uggs which I refuse to pay for one season of wear for a little girl. These are nice quality and she likes them . Spray and they are fine. She had the same ones last year and they were well worn and I threw them away because she grew out of them and also they get really ugly and beat up. Last year she had the wool so this year I tried the sheepskin because they seem thicker and will hold up better. Good purchase.

We ordered these for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. Unfortunately, the top edge of one of the boots was unraveling. Due to high demand, there were no others in the size and color to exchange. The boots are really nice - we just got a badly stitched boot. Ordering, shipping and customer service with Zappos was great!
