This is a beautiful boot, very well made. HOWEVER, I followed the advice of so many reviewers and sized up… Don't if you have a high instep because I could barely get them on and off. The right foot was so comfy but the left was too tight on the instep. So I am going to try the next size up, hopefully it will not be too big. This boot is plenty wide even though I have wide feet. It can be worn with jeans, dresses, and shorts rolled down (tag would need to be removed) or left up. I love that it's water resistant!

Well, I exchanged them for that bigger size and the same problem, the right foot was too small, even smaller than the pair before which was a smaller pair. I thought by going up a size that would resolve the problem - but the next size was even worse. The instep was even tighter.
