I bought a 7 thinking boots like these run larger, this particular style though seems very tight. I am a size 7 in flip flops, and a 7.5 in most other shoes, I'm debating to get the size 8 but am afraid they will be too large. I'm going to keep the 7 with hope they break in and loosen up a bit. I don't see wearing socks with them right now. Skinny jeans wont be a problem only because I have very narrow calves. The buckles look is very nice, doesn't make the boot look like those sloppy Uggs. Love the non slip sole, not water resistant though. Really wish they would come out with half sizes and water resistant boots! I bought another style in EMU which is a 7 that fits perfect, so I guess it's just this style. I bought the grey and tan. Overall great boot.

I tried these in a store, and they felt pretty tight (size 5- I wear a 6 or 6.5 in most other shoes), but I ordered them in that size knowing my other pair is a 5 and had initially felt snug (now they're almost too big). I wore them out to run errands last night, and they already feel better this morning. Love them. They aren't as "chunky" as the tan pair I already owned. And the straps add some pretty cool interest. They'll be my favorites this winter.

I just got my first pair of Emu today, and need to say I love them! The fur inside the boots is a little bit thinner the comparable Ugg boots, but I don't see any problem in that (just writing it as information not an criticism). Normally I wear size 6-6.5, ordered 6 and they are perfect.
Brands I'd also recommend: Ugg

The EMU Darlington has a firmer foot bed compared to the EMU Stinger Lo boots that I have. The Stinger Lo I wear a size 6 and fit fine. The Darlingtons I wear a size 7. At first these fit snug (tow at top of boot), but after just wearing around the house they stretched and now fit fine. I normally wear a 7 to 7½ in regular shoes. Both I am able to stick my pant legs inside the boots. These seem a little wider then the Uggs that I tried on. I had to roll my pant legs up to the top of the Ugg boots, not able to get them inside at all. Stinger Lo is the more comfortable of the two!

My first pair of woolly boots! I tried the other brand, but they just didn't feel comfortable. I have a really high instep and couldn't even get some of the other brands' boots on. :( I like the fact that these have a removable insole--I put an arch support underneath it and they are really comfortable and warm--I can walk all day in these! I normally wear a size 9, but an 8 in the EMU Darlington fits perfectly.
