I wanted to love these boots because they were so soft and felt like they'd be very warm, but they were very wide for my size 9 average width feet. Even to wear them as slippers around the house was impossible as they were way too wide and floppy on my feet. The arch support was not discernible but I am used to the strong arch support of shoes like Birkenstocks. I settled on a pair of Cushe Pimlico boots that are a better fit and have good arch support.

I really wanted to love these boots, but I can't. I ordered two sizes, because some reviews of Emu said they run small, which they definitely do. I measured the Emu 8 up against my 7 Uggs, the 8 Emu was the same length, felt a bit snugger in the toe, almost too snug. But they still slipped on the heel with each and every step, which was not only annoying, I think it would cause the sheepskin lining to wear away very quickly. Also, the arch support is really non-existent. If they want to claim an arch support, they need to do better. I have 3 pair of Uggs, and wanted to try something new, but I think I am sticking with my Uggs. These Emus look cute, but they are going back for the reasons mentioned.

Very cute, very comfortable boots. Needed a little arch support and these have it! A little roomy in the heel, but I will just have to wear bulkier socks! They were on my doorstep within a day and a half after ordering!

I'm loving my new boots. Yes, my heel does rise a bit I might not have even noticed if I had not been looking for it. I wear a pretty standard 11 -- since it appears that Emu does not make an 11 I decided to give a 10 a try. Glad that I did. I'll be wearing these mostly with tights and a 10 is perfect. Even without socks my feet are nice and warm thanks to the very thick lining. Arch support is barely there and a bit far back for me but overall the good well outweighs the bad.

I got these as a Christmas gift and am very grateful to my husband. Cozy, warm, and have walked into several snowbanks with my dogs and stayed dry and warm. I love the adjustable buckle. I am fashionable and feel spoiled, too.

Great looking and comfy boot, but too loose in the heel. The rubbing up and down will be irritating. I did order down like suggested, but still too wide in the heel. So, if you have a wide heel, this boot is perfect.

I love these boots, which I got for Christmas. I read the previous review which helped me decide on the size, plus I talked with an employee live on line and he was so helpful as well. I am a size 8.5 and am very happy and comfortable in the size 9 that I purchased. I don't wear socks and these feel so soft and awesome! I also like that I can tighten the buckle for a more secure fit as I have thin feet and shins.

Ordered these along with the Gumnuts. Seems I cannot wear EMUs, because my heel is very narrow and these boots fit me great in length, but the heel rides up even with socks. Guess I will order Uggs, even though I love the EMUs so much better.

The picture doesn't show how pretty the blue actually is. These are just so cute. I love them! So far many people have randomly stopped and ask me about them while I am out. So needless to say I am extremely pleased!

I'm an UGG fan but decided to try EMU mainly because that their insoles are all removable. I wear size 6.5 but I have to order size 5 for UGG classic series, so I ordered both 5 and 6 for my EMU boots. Thanks for Zappos great service! I tried the 5 which is way small, so I decided that size 6 is the right one for me. As to the boots itself, it's way too big, my feet literally were going everywhere and I feel the sheepskin isn't as thick as UGG's, so I'm returning both and going back to UGG. Oh, the color isn't exactly as the picture shown, it's a bit darker and feels dirtier in person.

I'll start by saying I've never owned Emu boots or a similar brand - Ugg, but I thought I'd give 'em a try. The boots came in very fast, within two days of me ordering them. I love Zappos shipping. I was disappointed with the color because they were a dull dark navy blue rather than a rich dark navy blue (I know monitor screens vary, but disappointed nonetheless). I'm a 7.5 but ordered a 7. They're pretty snug but I'm expecting the fur to mat down so they should fit better after some use. The ankle is loose, as others said but that doesn't bother me too much. Overall, the boots seem very cheaply made for the amount they cost. There's glue oozing out and dried where the foot bed meets the sole, and the leather strap is thin and cheap. I'm concerned with the longevity of the boot, and it doesn't look like they'll last long as they should for the price. The raw edge at the top with the sheep skin looks like it'll shed constantly. Haven't decided to keep them or send them back. It's too bad because the style is super cute.

Blue is gorgeous! Fun style, similar, yet different enough from the Ugg Bailey Button boot. Heel cup is a little spacious, but I'm used to wearing Danskos so the slippage is no big deal. I wear 6.5-7 (37) and got these in 6 and they fit well.

This type of boot is generally so hideous to me but the heat that they generate around feet is so spectacular that I had to succumb. I picked the lesser of the two "evils" - this less known brand, less snob, less status. more raw/handmade look also appeals to me. These are definitely your perfect premium sheepskin boot. I think they are more wide around the ankle than the ones from the "other" brand. If you've never had boots like this before they feel funny at first, your foot is all over the place. Obviously, there's no structure around the foot or great support. I went 1/2 size down to 8 and they are snug, as they should be based on other reviews. But still my foot heel lifts inside when walking so if that will annoy you don't get them. I'll deal with it. I ordered super early and got them next day - free. Zappos is the best!

Too cute and very comfortable. These Emus have the removable insole and upgraded outer sole similar to the Ugg Ultimate but the fashion styling similar to the Ugg Bailey Button, and they are waterproof, too - all for a better price. I wear a 7.5 in most shoes so I ordered down to a 7 and the fit is similar to the Ugg. My heel did slide a bit as others have complained so I added a thin, cheap foam insert between the boot and removable insole. This stopped my heel from sliding up and down. Try it if you like the style but want a tighter fit.
