Emerica Reviews
Best shoes Ive ever had. I've been skating for 10+ years now and have never had such a durable shoe as these. Before I started buying these, I was riding the Herman 2's. Had about 10 pairs of those and 6-7 pairs of these. Love them.
I love these shoes. I wish that the beads were on both sides of the shoe string. Otherwise, they wear well.
One review says these shoes fit large, so I ordered 7½ instead of the usual 8. 7½ is too small, so I reordering 8. Zappos handled the exchange extremely well.
They seem to be just a bit too large...not much but a bit. If you are in between sizes, I'd go for the smaller size. They are a beautiful shoe and I love them!
Great looking shoe but the worst footbed ever created. No arch support and just terribly flat. I wore them straight out the box and they already hurt. If you have high arches, don't buy. Cheap Chinese product.
Beautiful shoe, runs a full size large though. Trust me, I'm writing from Ecuador, Sth. America, so I hate having large messed up sizes.
If you're considering this pair, get it. I put in the order and they came about 7 or 8 days later in perfect condition. They're extremely comfortable and even give some protection from the snow, they are mids after all. (I got them in the winter). I got a size 10, which tends to run a little big when it comes to skate shoes. Also, they come with extra lacing of a different color, so you can change up the look, if you want. You do have to lace them yourself, but that was cool with me because I change the lacing style quite often myself. One thing I didn't like was there's a little E symbol on the bottom that will actually peel off relatively quickly. I'd say within the first month or two. It's not really not noticeable though. All in all I'd have to say they're a great pair. A good combination for both for fashion and durability.
My son loves these! Very good looking shoe and a great/unique color combination. They go with everything. Love that they came with two sets of laces.
These are ok shoes. They look great, have amazing board feel, and are really comfy, but there are some drawbacks. First off, the shoes are not breathable at all. After a long skate session my feet will be soaked in sweat and the inside of the shoes get all wet. I have never had this problem with any other shoes. Also, the thing on the back that says STIFusion fell off the shoes in the first week. I have never had a problem with Zappos great service, but when I got these one of them had a huge scrape going down the whole side of it which was kind of frustrating. Other than that, I was satisfied with these shoes.
Pretty shoes for sure. Ran a bit large. I'm wearing through them super fast too. Only had them about a month/month and a half and I've already worn the soles out quickly. I haven't even had time to skate in them and just me walking around campus wears them down.
Most flexible shoe I've ever owned, though a good thing for me, isn't always the best for most. Make sure to order the shoe at least a half size smaller than what you usually wear. I normally wear a 12 in basically any style of shoe and I ordered these in an 11 1/2 with still some wiggle room. The only complaint I have so far is the sole of the shoe is extremely thin, you feel everything you step on. (PS, the shoe will stain your white socks with no mercy.)
First time ordering from Zappos and won't be the last. Received the shoe within the week of ordering it plus I didn't pay a dime for shipping. I get compliments for this shoe all the time on its look. All in all this shoe is a bang for the buck.
These were purchased by a 12 year old skateboarder who is very particular about his shoes. He said these are the best skate shoes ever. According to him, they make kickflips and other tricks much easier due to the flex and the rubber sole that goes higher on the toe. He will definitely be getting another pair. He is hard on his skate shoes and these are holding up nicely.
My 14 year old son has gotten these shoes five times and thinks that they are awesome. They do not wear down easily, and you have style for miles when skating with them.
Not bad looking but totally uncomfortable. A thin flat hard insole, and the top is lined with a stiff fabric or leather so it has no give to it and no softness. What could have been a good shoe isn't.
I've trusted Emerica for a long time, they normally make good products, however these are an exception. They have extremely poor production and a feeling of cheapness about them, I felt like I was always about to rip the blasted things. They fall apart very easily and truly aren't meant for anything else but lounging around. They fall to shreds after the slightest abuse. For the price I at least wanted my shoes to be a bit more well made.
The all black model is vegan. They run half a size larger, and the toe piece is for a wide foot. I have owned a pair for four months now, and the footbed cushion feels as good as the day I first put them on. It is very cushy. They seem to be very durable so far.
Terrible! After 3 pairs of exchange the suede is all worn off on sides and back of shoe. All Zappos could say is that we will need to return and they could not guarantee the quality of shoe they were sending us.
I bought these for my picky 17 year old and they look great, have held up well and were an excellent value. Most important he liked them and so did his fashionista girlfriend.
