A good looking shoe with low quality construction. Within two weeks of consistent but moderate use the souls began falling off. After a couple of months the shoes are practically unwearable. Emerica: the pride of Chinese manufacturing.

Thanks to the first reviewer for pointing out that the shoe runs half size big. Took a few days to break them in; the cushioning is fantastic. The side vent is genius, looks cool too. Laces are set towards the inside of the shoe to prevent breaking, a nice little detail. Durable and grippy outsole with a nice pattern, haven't shown much signs of wear so far (3 weeks). The only con is the heel collar. There's no notch for the Achilles, so it slips when I'm pushing. Lacing up to the top eyelet helped with that. Great shoe overall, will buy again for sure. I gave it 4 stars, really is a 4 1/2.

Pretty cool shoe, comfortable, and seems somewhat durable, although I don't suggest skating in them cuz you will probably tear right through the canvas. My biggest complaint about the shoes is the grip. The bottom of the sole is made from two different material, the brown gum that you usually find in skating shoes, and the black part is a weird furry material that feels like carpet. The "carpet grip" has no grip to it whatsoever and easily wears through. You could easily slip on a wet surface with these shoes.

I wanted a thickly padded shoe that was a mid-top and looked decent. This shoe did not deliver in the padding and didn't look all that great either (especially with the terrible laces). The insole has very little padding and the overall shoe didn't seem that comfortable despite other comments here. The shoelaces are god awful - they feel brittle and are just awful to try to lace. If I had decided to keep the shoes I would replace them immediately. The glue binding the rubber sole to the suede was visible and still sticky. The sole on both of the shoes already seemed as though it was wearing out and definitely was peeling off. These overall just didn't seem that good of quality. I've been buying skate shoes in this price range for years and I've never been disappointed, but the quality here is just awful. Sure they look nice, but there are better looking shoes with likely better quality. I don't know if it's typical of this brand, but I've never had a problem with Vans, DC, and Circa.

Very comfortable shoe. I guess I was used to very uncomfortable skate shoes when I bought these, but these can feel a little snug top-bottom due to the insole padding. That said, I'm really enjoying these.

I ordered these for my son who skateboards and has big feet (size 13). He says they are very comfortable and padded - wears them all the time.

Awesome looking shoe. The Navy/Gum looks more gray in the picture than it actually is, it is Navy. They run a half to almost a full size big and unfortunately they don't have enough arch support for me so I will end up returning them. Also props to Zappos. I ordered these on a Saturday and got them on Monday. Kentucky to Wisconsin over the weekend!

I've owned atleast 9 pairs of these shoes over the years. I been skatin for almost 10 years and tried many shoes from all companies. These are hands down the best most comfortable shoes ever. Buy them and you will not be disappointed.

They sent the new size out without needing to wait for the others to return. I love that there is free shipping to us and especially for a return. Zappos has great customer service and great customer friendly policies. I wish more companies would try to help the consumer like they do.

I love the shoes. I think that they are great skateboarding shoes for those people who love to skate they never get ripped from doing tricks and they are so comfortable.

Probably the most comfortable skate shoe I've ever worn. The insoles provide more than adequate cushioning. If you've ever worn PF Flyers the cushioning is comparable. I usually wear a 13 EE so the toebox could allow for more room to move toes up and down, but the width is nice. Overall a very comfortable shoe, but the laces need to be longer for someone with a wider foot like me.

These shoes were good. I got them for Christmas, skated them for a few weeks, and they started falling apart. The good thing about these shoes is that when they start to fall apart they remain strong and don't just completely die. These have amazing comfort. I would recommend.

My son loves these and has a few colors. Uses them for skating and school. The gray he wears for a dressier look.

The shoe was narrower/shorter than other shoes. I wear a size 14 in Vans and Patagonia, but my toes were right up against the front of this shoe.

Mediocre skate shoe. I had the black/white gum. I only got them because of the color way! Also had the red/white. They skate okay. Bottoms wear out quick and also, in my opinion, they have too much padding! Go with some Vans Pro Eras. And in regards to the one review about the tongue slipping to the side, yeah, mine did that too.

I ordered these for my son, and he likes them. He did say they were a bit uncomfortable at first with the heals rubbing. My son wears this brand of shoe almost exclusively he is a Senior in HS.
