The leather is soft, a bit brighter gold than in the picture, but it is beautiful. It's bigger than most smartphone wristlets, so if you have the bigger phones, it's fine. My naked iPhone floats in it, but with the cover, it fits just right. If you've wanted one but hoped for a little more room for maybe a small lipgloss and slim compact, this is it. It won't fit in your back pocket like the others, so you have to weigh the ability to carry a couple of essentials against that. Overall, I'm glad I bought it. I'm not crazy about the lining, but it's all hidden if you put a card/picture in the front.

When I purchased, I didn't realize this was made specifically for an iPad; I thought it was a purse that was big enough for a tablet if needed. Elliott Lucca's website makes clear that this is for an iPad; the real style name even has "iPad" in it. I'm sure I could use this as a purse and be happy with it, but now that I know it's for an iPad, I can't see it as anything other than a mini laptop case. I wasn't in the market for this type of product, so I'm returning it. I'm a big fan of Elliott Lucca and would recommend this if you are looking for a freestanding iPad carrying case.

This bag is more beautiful than shown or I expected. I got the sage (last color left) & the color is accurate to the picture. No obvious green, very neutral & will go with everything. The leather is soft but holds it shape & is wonderfully textured. It is a high quality bag. The size is good, not too small & it will hold the basics you need. It really is a standout accessory that will last & be frequently used. A+.

CLASS ACT!! Bought this for my Mom - she thought I was lying about the cost - LOVES IT! Looks even richer in person: shades of brown, beige and subtle tones of black. Can dress up or down & very comfortable.

Very cute in black but poor craftsmanship.- used purse less than one month (with little other than wallet, cell phone, pen and lip balm in it) and the small leather tab that holds ring strap goes through completely ripped off. Hoping to sew it back in, but shouldn't have to for money spent.

I bought this duffel in the light tan/white color block combo and it is so beautiful in person. It's made of complete leather outside and you can tell it's top quality. As a girl who loves fashion this is definitely a great weekender or carry-on bag to have. I am 5 feet tall and I have no problems with this bag being too big. It's the perfect size and it fit's under the seat in front of you on a plane. All in all it was an investment bag for me and if you like to travel in style this is the perfect bag. I've held a cosmetic bag, iPad with chargers, 2 changes of clothes, small toiletries bag, 1 magazine, a pair of shoes, and my lunch in here when I'm traveling. I hope my review helps someone make the decision to buy this Elliot Lucca duffel because it really is awesome!

The chain is not that great. Makes the purse less classy. I have 2 wallets by Elliot Lucca and am disappointed with this purse!

I love this clutch. I've worn it a few times already and have gotten several compliments. The quality is great and it's so stylish. It's a little big but I am very happy with it.

I really like this bag. It has the flexibility of using the chain or not. It looks chic with jeans or dressy outfits too. Holds a lot of stuff. Great for going out on the town.

I love this bag. Purchased it in 3 colors. The metallic is an eye-popper. I also have the black and royal blue. It is the perfect size for day and great for evening. Holds a full size wallet, lipstick and cell phone. Get it. You won't be disappointed.

I had been lusting over this bag for a while when I saw that the color I wanted (coral) had sold out. I panicked and bought it in white (linen, whatever). I am so glad that I did. It is beautiful! The bag works well as a clutch or you can wear it as a purse. The strap is not too long. On me (at 5'3") it hits right between my rib cage and hip bone. The leather is good quality and the color is as expected. It holds its shape and has lots of room for whatever you need (I even carry flats in mine). I can't say enough about this clutch! I bought a cheaper satin clutch that arrived a few days before my Lucca did. I was kind of disappointed with that clutch, but now that I've seen this one I can probably never look at my other clutch again. My only concern is that this will get dirty easily (as this is what happened to my last go-to bag in pale pink) but that's to be expected with white leather. Just take good care of this clutch and you won't regret it. It really is beautiful.

Nice handbag for semi-dressy occasions. Reasonably priced and very versatile. Unlike many others, this bag is large enough for your phone, wallet and a few other items.

This is a great purse. It is small, but big enough to fit cards, cell phone and some makeup. It is a great weekend purse and is very comfortable. The leather is slightly cheap, but the price is great. It is recommended!

Purchased the white/stone bag, and the leather is very poor in quality. Leather is paper-like and stains easily.

This is a nice bag. Very nice size for evening if you want to carry a small camera, cell phone and a few other essentials. You can wear it cross-body which is nice. The gold in the black and gold is shiny though. I would have preferred a matte gold. I exchanged it for the all black and think I will get a lot of use out of it for both dressy occasions and just with jeans.

Sleek, slim purse with a nice long shoulder strap. Extremely well made. I needed one slim line purse long enough to carry 10" long tickets, but high enough to not look like a long banana shape. This bag has a perfect proportion, and looks beautiful.
