Too small! These are great pumps, but they're at least a half size too small from true size. I actually think they're easier to walk in than my other pair of Elizabeth and James pumps (those were true to size), but because I bought them in leather, they will stretch. If you have difficulty walking in high heels, try Insolia inserts plus a good ball-of-foot cushion. It helps a lot! Also, if you dislike toe cleavage, these may not be for you.

I just got these in the mail today! I didn't order them from Zappos, because they're actually on sale at Neiman and Saks right now. My first thoughts when trying these on, wow are they snug! I would say they're about a half size off from true size as I have another pair of Elizabeth and James pumps that fit fine. It may be that my feet are a little on the wider side, but I generally do not have problems with that. Luckily, I ordered the black leather ones, so I am sure they will stretch out. I can't speak for the lace, however. If you have narrow feet, I would order true size. If you are in between, I suggest you order a half size up. Overall, I really like these pumps, and they're pretty easy to walk in, but I'm used to heels are these heights now. If you have difficulty walking in heels, I suggest Insolia inserts; they're great! It also helps if you have a ball of foot cushion insert as well. Hope this helps!

After searching high and low for a review on this shoe, I decided to order them and write one myself. I love the style of the shoe, very different. I wear a size 9 med, and ordered a 9 med. Fits true to size. Very pointed toe, but nice shoe bed. Now the review- 1st: The heel is a true 4" or more. No problem. 2nd: The faux snake is a little cheap for the price. Was not expecting the real thing, but quality wise it's just not there. 3rd: When wearing the shoe, it feels like it's on the wrong foot, very strange feeling. Overall, I think it lacks in construction and quality, but it makes up for it in style. If you have to have them, wait for a sale. Very slick soles, have a shoe shop put rubber on the forefoot to prevent slipping. Not a bad shoe, but for the price, not great.

I have been drooling over these shoes for a few months now and was so excited when the price dropped. However, I am sending them back because I just can\'t walk in them like a normal human being. They are tall, yes (I knew that from the description), but the problem for me is that the heel is so thin (about the half the size of a pencil. I guess I\'m just not graceful enough to pull them off. It\'s a shame too because they are so pretty :/

Amazing design. Looks great, very in style, and very comfortable as well. Works with jeans, slacks, and skirts equally well. E and J Is a fabulous brand all around.

This shoe is much better in person. The images make it appear to be sort of "splotchy", but this is not the case (I got the khaki pony). Overall, it looks like a nice shade of black with a hint of green. I wear a standard 6.5 pretty much always, and I feel this shoe runs a 1/2 size small as I am returning a 6.5 and ordering a 7. Might not be the case if your feet are narrow, but they feel quite snug. One caveat about this shoe is that the insole pops up when you take your foot out; they are not glued in there. Like that the top part is closer to the toes than too the ankle; keeps it more chic and less mums-ey.

I am a shoe fan, but this pair are expensive considering where they are made; it disappointed me a lot. They look good, true size, but not sure if is a keeper. I cannot say anything about the comfort; haven't worn it yet.

These furry friends go with everything. I needed a new semi-formal shoe for business meetings, and these fit the bill perfectly. In addition to being a very classy cut, the color and furry texture, make for a subtle but unique look that goes with black, or brown, or jeans, or just about anything. They are very slippery on the bottom! Be careful on your first day!

I have 3 pairs of Elizabeth and James shoes and I plan to get another! Love the quality and they're a perfect fit, whether a flat gladiator or this great bootie! The envelope flap is fun, and it's comfortable for a high narrow heel. The leather is a very good quality. This line is trendy and fun, with unique detailing, but not over the top for anyone. They're still classic and will work into your wardrobe, whatever your style. Thanks, Zappos, for carrying this brand, you're my favorite place to shoe shop!

I LOVE these shoes! They are way comfortable, and edgy enough to wear day or night. Great with so many things, and much to my surprise, super lightweight, no heavy block of wood here, but a gorgeous wood veneer that keeps the appearance rich and the wearability fabulous!

MK Shoes - These shoes are the exact ones MK is wearing in US weekly riding her bike. I love the small wedge (gives you a little height). I can't get over what an amazing value these shoes are! Beautiful Italian leather and the box is so pretty, too!

I purchased these shoes from Saks in NYC. I loved them so much that I had to get another pair in a different color. You can wear them morning, day and night. This is by far my best shoe purchase of the year. I love the entire collection. it is reasonably priced for a contemporary shoe that looks designer.

You won't believe how good this shoe looks on! When I first saw the shoe, I thought looks comfy, but how is this going to look on? Wow! Wait 'til you try it. The most sexy shoe I have bought this year. The look is stunning and I will wear this beauty well into fall and winter. The gathered front is very contemporary and the heel makes it very feminine and dainty. I've paired it with cropped jeans, tight skirts, mid knee length fitted dresses and trousers. Works with everything. Only complaints 1) ankle straps are a bit tight (and I have slender ankles) so I am still breaking them in and 2) the open toe hits right at cuticle area and causes some chafing, but again, breaking in required. Also, this shoe runs big. This beauty is worth every penny.

I work in the luxury shoe industry on Rodeo Dr and these are one of the best shoes I have seen in a long time! They are ultra comfortable and the color contrast of the upper leather and the wood heel are very chic! I love my Haley wedges!

These are the hottest shoes on the strip! NOT the most comfortable but after some wear I hope this changes. Heel is perfect, not too short but not too tall. The size seems right on, maybe a little big. I usually buy 9.5 but bought the 9 and they are perfect! LOVE these!

This is one cheap looking shoe for the price - Love the look, but when I got them, the quality was a bit disappointing. Looks and feels more like a Steve Madden type of quality. The leather is stiff and cuts across the toe. Shoe is narrow and runs a bit on the small size. The buckle is thin & cheap as well. The box and the dustbag are very nice - a little too nice for these shoes.
