I've been trying to find a replacement for Ecco Cosmo sandals, which I wore for years until they were discontinued. These come close, but I still wish Ecco would start making Cosmo again. Those were the most comfortable walking sandals ever.

I just bought these sandals for an upcoming trip to Europe where I will be doing a lot of walking. I love them -- can hardly take them off. The are so comfortable. I even wore them to work one day, even though I'm supposed to look professional and these are really too sporty looking for that, because I didn't want to wear anything else. They are incredibly light, the foot bed is cushy with good arch support, and the straps are really soft and don't have any parts that rub uncomfortably. They are adjustable three ways, which no doubt helps. I have a wide foot and also have problems with swollen ankles at times.

I had these sent to my mother. She said they were "darling" but too wide even with the loop at the tightest, and that "her foot pushed forward off of the front of the sandal", as the heel has a slight incline towards the front. Had to send them back.

This sandal is one of the most comfortable I have had... excellent ECCO construction and quality. I have a narrow foot and high arch; the velcro straps keep it snug on the foot, and the arch is perfect. I am very happy with this shoe.

These may be the most comfortable shoes I've owned. I love Merrell's, but these feel "soft" on my feet. I have bunions and I like being able to adjust the toe box.

I needed very comfortable everyday and vacation touring sandals and these are great! They even are fine in the rain! I love how I can adjust the three Velcro closed straps for my personal comfort. They are very sturdy, casual sandals, but are really light weight and have similar comfort as an athletic shoe. I would not want to wear them with anything but casual clothes such as shorts, jeans, sport pants, or khakis, not with a skirt or dress, as they are very sturdy looking, but that is my personal preference. Despite this, they are not bulky and wide looking. I am happy I purchased these!

I own a pair of Ecco Performance sandals and like them very much. This pair looks like the Performance line, but it is more lightweight, so I bought it for everyday wear. I was mistaken. I ordered size 38, like my Ecco Performance pair. But the shoes simply feel too large because the two ankle straps can't be tightened enough to be secure. Then I ordered one size down (37), but the straps still feel loose. Comparing the shoes to my Ecco Performance, I see that the ankle strap over the foot is placed too far from the ankle, causing the "cannot tighten it up" feeling. Other than the strap placement issue, the shoes are lightweight and comfortable. They don't offer much arch support, but that's never an issue with me. I will return both pairs and stick to the old trusted Performance line.
