Great boots. Lightweight, but solid. Very rugged. I have worked out at the gym and they have provided excellent support and comfort. I have also walked in heavy snow outdoors and they handled excellent in that environment as well (was wearing wool socks) and my feet did not get cold. If you need a good, solid, comfortable boot, these Eccos are a great choice.

The customer service from Zappos is always outstanding, shipping speed this time wildly exceeded my expectations. Continue the great work guys, it’s truly appreciated particularly considering so many others don’t care enough anymore to do customer service worth praising. This is my first pair Eccos, a highly regarded brand by many which made me take note, but I was also drawn to their attractive styling. These are a very nice looking pair of hiking boots. I expected the quality would be excellent given their favorable reviews and cost and I wasn’t disappointed. I purchased these to work in as I’m on my feet most of the day for long periods of time and I certainly appreciate a quality pair of boots. These are very well constructed and have what feels like shock reducing/absorbing, outer soles which cut down on fatigue noticeably. The high quality leather is soft and supple with tight, flawless stitching throughout. The removable, foam backed, tanned leather insoles are suspect because after wearing the boots 14 hours straight the first day my footprint is clearly permanently imprinted in them making me question how long the insoles will last. The fit was comfortable in the toe areas, but somewhat tight around my instep areas, not so much as to be unbearable, but enough to be noticeable and I’m hoping this resolves itself once they’re broken in good, but right out of the box these boots weren’t entirely comfortable to me for that reason and I was ready to remove them after a day’s work, but my foot is slightly wider than most, for those with narrow feet that probably won’t be a problem. It’s worth noting, however, that removing the leather, foam backed insoles actually made the boot fit better particularly around my insteps which I’m hoping won’t become necessary (once they break in properly) as that will probably negatively affect overall comfort.

I really like the boot but the ECCO track II boot was the best. It was very light weight and very comfortable. If ECCO still made the track II boot I would buy it in a heart beat. Zappos though has given me great service. Thanks

As with every Ecco I\'ve ever tried on this one was very comfortable. However, it is harder to get on and off and lace up than the Dhaka Mid GTX, which is the one I opted for. For me, Eccos are the best shoe made. The comfort and quality cannot be beat.

What can be said about perfection? Lightest, most durable, best looking mid weight\/medium duty boots I own. I just bought the black ones and I have had the brown for two years. I wear them every day from the field to the boardroom, mud to rock in the AM and concrete to grass in the afternoon. Buy these boots if you need the best waterproof breathable high shine lightweight lace ups. You won\'t be sorry.

I bought these boots as my everyday, go anywhere, do anything boots. I do not buy boots very often, evidence being the pair of boots these are expected to replace -- Merrells that I have owned for 8 years and worn the Vibram sole completely smooth. I was looking for a classic hiking boot style -- all leather construction, rugged soles, and waterproof. After about a month, I can say that I am very pleased. I wear these boots to work every day where I split time between an office environment and a manufacturing shop floor. The leather has been holding up nicely to the occasional bump and scrape. The Gore-Tex lining has worked perfectly, as expected. But the most impressive thing about these boots are the latex soles. (The lighter colored portion in the picture.) I was very skeptical about them, but so far so good. They make the boots much lighter than expected and provide very nice cushioning. They also have some pretty aggressive lugs that help make these boots more rugged and worthy of the outdoors. Only time will tell whether they last as long as my previous boots.

Have had two pairs of Ecco Tracks over a 10 year period. Each has lasted 4-5 years with heavy hiking experience (Alaska wilderness, Australia outback, Europe, Yellowstone offtrail, Yosemite Glacier Point, Zion Observation Point, etc). Fantastic traction, waterproof, all day total comfort, great support, long lasting leather and sole, rugged, and always look great. Worth every penny when you think of the extended wear, comfort and performance. Ecco is my first choice in shoes from business, to outdoor, to golf.

I first became aware of ECCO while traveling in Europe in 1997. I couldn't afford them then, but later, on a return trip to Amsterdam, I bought a pair with a simple style that I'd not seen in America. They were great, and I still have them. These, although still a simple style, are no where near as comfortable, and appear to be made from lesser materials. I'll put insoles in them, but I'm a little disappointed.

Very comfortable, supportive boots right out of the box. I am a physical therapist and use these as my daily work "shoes". They are stylish enough to go with the polo shirt/chino look, but look rugged as well. They are good looking enough to get occasional compliments. The gum rubber sole is soft and cushy and feels great when running across asphalt. Though Gore-Tex lined, these boots breathe well. The Gore-Tex liner is tight, requires a shoe horn to get these boots on easily, but pays for the hassle in the support it gives. Order one size smaller than your Euro size, or these will be too big. This is my second pair and won't be my last.

I like these boots. It took a few days to break-in the boots, then they felt comfortable. Quality feels good. Offers good protection from big puddles when it rains or snows.
