My bf purchased these shoes and absolutely LOVES them. He loves Eccos, to begin with, although they are a bit pricey. He was looking for a shoe to wear to work that was a bit nicer than a hiking boot and that would still keep his feet warm. This shoe did the trick! He's been wearing them everyday and LOVES them, they fit like his other Ecco's but give him a bit of traction on our wintry, slippery streets. He also put in his own insoles, as he does with all his shoes.

I was looking for a men's black, waterproof shoe for travel. Ideally, I wanted one that could be worn with casual clothes or with slacks and a jacket so that I could pack one pair of shoes for travel and be all set. Stylistically, this shoe fits the bill almost perfectly. The sole is a tad thick and knobby. That's perfect for hiking but would make it stand out just a bit in semi-formal attire. The comfort of the shoe was almost perfect, but the bit in the back that rises up against the Achilles tendon was too high for me and kept rubbing. They weren't super uncomfortable and I could have worn them for a few hours, but I would not have been able to hike all day in them. To be fair, I return a LOT of shoes for that reason. My Achilles is sensitive. They may be just fine for you. Had it not been for that, I'd have kept these shoes and they'd have been 5 stars all around. If Ecco would make a shoe in this style with the same back-end comfort as the Track II Low-Top, it would be the holy grail of single-shoe packing for me. Note that I only wore these around the house long enough for a go/no-go decision, so I was unable to test their waterproofing. Still, Ecco is a good brand and Gore-Tex is guaranteed, so I'd have no worries.

Great shoes, very comfortable right out of the box. I own 4 pairs of ECCO shoes. They last longer and are more comfortable than any other shoes I have owned. Would not buy anywhere except Zappos, great service.

A comfortable water proof shoe, that has good support and style. In fact I liked it so much I bought a second pair. Ecco makes a quality product. I would recommend this shoe to a friend, in fact I already did!

I love this shoe! I\'ve been a DM fan forever, but this ECCO has me converted. The latex sole is incredibly comfortable, it fits superbly, and it\'s waterproof.

Most comfortable shoes I have. Trekked all over Africa and Asia with no troubles whatsoever. Waterproof is nice. Only detractor is that the sole tends to be sticky, and collects dust and dirt quickly.

A very comfortable, rugged shoe. Initially this shoe seemed a little heavier than expected, but it feels so good the weight isn't noticed. With Zappos' 365 day return policy you can't go wrong buying from these.

This is a great shoe for leisure travel. It is as sturdy and comfortable as the Track II so it is good for a long day on cobblestones and marble floors, and versatile enough to be pressed into service for a trail walk. They have the added benefit of being stylish enough to be worn in places that you might otherwise not wear a sturdy shoe or boot.

As with all the Ecco's I have purchased these are exceptional. Right away, out of the box, they are comfortable. Took my granddaughter on a 4 mile walk, and carry, on the beach over a lot of rocks and these were sure footed and definitely waterproof. If I was allowed only one pair of shoes on a vacation these would be them.

This shoe is unbelievably comfortable. Unfortunately, the sole wears out very fast compared to previous Ecco Track shoes I've owned. Wear that took 2 years to occur on my older Ecco Tracks and other brands of shoes I've owned, occurred after only 4 months with the Track 5's. I received a replacement pair from Ecco, but these are wearing fast as well. I wish Ecco would upgrade the quality of the sole. Then these shoes would be perfect.

Bought these for my son who is a big guy and works in the restaurant business, on his feet all day. He has a wide toe box and a narrow heel. Very loyal to Ecco shoes. He says these are the best that he has worn.

One place I will not skimp is my feet. Makes no sense. These are great shoes for almost anything. Well made, comfortable, and good looking. I will call them high-end casual, and I should enjoy wearing these for years.

The Ecco Track 5 Plain Toe Low are extremely comfortable and the construction is top notch. I am used to wearing SAS shoes. I wanted something a little more rugged for work. I sometimes unload trucks in the snow. These are definitely waterproof and warm. I'm very happy with these and would recommend them to friends.

I agree with gentleman from Chicago the latex part of the sole is just a coating and wears off rapidly exposing soft sponge like rubber that wears away quickly turning to a flat spot. You pay a lot for ECCO Track 5 and they should last longer than 4 months without showing sole wear. I 'll be checking with ECCO for replacement as well.

Bought these for my husband for Christmas. He loves them. They are rugged and waterproof, but they still look nice for business-casual work. Size is accurate. He says they are perfect for winter, when it is a little slushy out.
