This is an excellent travel shoe. I wore these on a recent trip to Italy where we were climbing hundreds of stairs daily and touring around all of the sites. They complement my little black skirts and offer an alternative to a sporty sneaker. You can add your own shoe inserts if you need more support. I tried that and found that I could wear these little shoes all day long comfortably. They are also easy/on easy/off which is great for travel. I have wore them without socks in warmer weather and with socks in the fall with pants. I must admit... I ordered a second pair when the first pair started to look more worn. Go for it! You will be pleased. You can wear them comfortably right out of the box.

The first pair I received was too small, but they were very good in every other way. I exchanged them for a size larger and am very pleased. They fit and comfort my feel like a nice pair of gloves. The workmanship seems good, and there are no bumps, seams, or rough edges to irritate my feet. I have high insteps, and the adjustable mary jane strap is in just the right spot -- not too close to my ankle. The insole can be removed easily to make room for my custom orthotics, and the strap adjusts to fit well. The slightly-rounded toe is a perfect match to the shape of my foot. The shoe is very light in weight, but seems sturdy.

Usually I wear a size 39 or 40. I ordered a 40 in this shoe and am now returning it to get an even larger size! Definitely much smaller than I expected! However, I'm not sure if it's a trend or just this one pair. A couple of summers ago, I bought 2 identical pairs of Keen sandals (2 colors) in the same size. One pair is 1/2" longer than the other! Part of the appeal of this shoe is other users' comments that the insole can be removed and replaced with custom orthotics. My orthotics do not extend under the ball of my foot, and thus will work with this shoe. The edge across the top of my foot feels a little snug but not uncomfortable. All of the finished edges are smooth and soft where they touch the foot. This shoe feels very lightweight but I'm trusting the brand and assuming it will be sturdy.

The shoes are very cute and comfortable. I wore them for 7 days at Disney World with my arch supports and did not have any aching in my body or feet so that is great. I did get a blister on each heel the first couple days but I was wearing no socks and hadn't broke them in and we walked all day and night. Now they are perfect to slip on and go around town. I love them!

These are great walking shoes. I bought them before I took a trip to Europe and wore them without socks everyday and they felt great. They were cool and comfortable. Worth every penny and they look great too.
