These felt like home the instant I put them on. I haven't worn them out of the house yet, but I have no reason to believe they won't remain comfy. Eccos seem to work for me in size and comfort. I've had a pair of weather-proof flat walking/hiking boots for years, and they fit perfectly, too...and are still going strong. I'm a perfect 10.5 with a fairly narrow foot, and the 42's consistently fit. What I also like from the Eccos is that even their size 42 looks trim and sleek. Efficient use of material to support and comfort feet. Eccos are worth the cost for me.

I loved Ecco's prior model. It was a great walking shoe but classy enough to wear with skirts and dresses. For years, I purchased several pairs at a time, and wore them almost every day. I recently wore out the last pair I owned, and tried to replace them. When I learned that the prior model had been discontinued, I ordered both the Cloud and Sky models. Both are going back. Inexplicably, someone has designed these shoes with unnecessarily complex piece work, accented with white stitching all over a black shoe. They now looks unmistakably like a sports shoes, all of the former elegance is gone. I might consider these shoes if I wanted to play soccer, but not if I am trying to replace my dressy walking shoes. Booo, Ecco. Badly done. Bring the old walker back, and I will be one of many happy customers.

I tried a couple of Ecco shoes recently trying to find something that would work with my orthotics. All of them were too tight once I replaced the removable insole with my orthotics (mainly because I have very high arches/insteps, but also because the insoles were very thin). However, this style had the most depth of any of the other Ecco shoes I tried and was only a hair tight. I ordered them in black, and unfortunately did not find them very stylish and they looked bulkier on my foot than I expected and looked more like a man's shoe than a woman's shoe. Definitely the least flattering Ecco shoe I tried.

I bought this shoe for travel and have worn it on several trips, here in the US and abroad. I loved the versitily, appearance and comfort of the shoe. The newer version of this style is unattractive, uncomfortable, stiff, and does not feel true to size. I am so disappointed as I have another trip soon and wanted a newer pair. I now hope my old ones never wear out!

These look better in person but they do resemble slim bowling shoes. I have had a brown/bronze leather and suede pair of these for years that I love and which are a little more stylish than the plain black leather. I suspect these will be equally comfortable once I wear them a while. I bought a full size larger than my usual size and wear them with pink Superfeet inserts and cushioned Smartwool socks.

These are are a very comfortable walking shoes. I wish the toe was not so pointed, which would make it easier to walk in. Although I have a medium/narrow foot, I found them to be "low volume" as boots are often described. I cut the front part off of the (removeable) insole and they were comfortable and still cushioned feeling,
