Very comfortable. I look for shoes I don't have to break in. These fit perfectly. (37) I bought them in brown, too. Love them!

I love these shoes, but the straps over the instep are at least 1 inch too long. They might fit a very plump foot? These shoes are so cute, very sad to return.

These shoes would have been perfect except for the one criss-crossing strap that runs from the ankle to the side of the foot that is not adjustable. It has elastic but, in my case, stuck out from my foot a good inch. I ordered a size smaller than my usual, but that's typical for Ecco. I do have wide toes, a narrow heel, and flat arches. Other than the problem with the strap, the sandal felt wonderful. It would've been very comfortable, but alas, this was not the sandal for me.

This is the most wonderful sandal I have ever owned! I have problems with severe heel pain and have found that the only sandals and dress shoes that I can wear are Ecco. I was worried that this sandal might not be as supportive and comfortable as the other Ecco sandals I have, but it is incredibly comfortable, as well as being very pretty. I have no heel pain at all when wearing these sandals and I feel as though I could walk ten miles in them! I came back to the Zappos site to buy a second pair, but, alas, they no longer have it in my size! I wear a 9 1/2 in American size, and this shoe fits perfectly in a European 40.
