I bought these shoes specifically for my trip to Boston. Wore them at the airport (which made going through security a breeze) and have never taken them off. I want to point out that it's April and I haven't worn these brand new shoes with socks because I haven't needed to. They keep my feet warm enough and cushioned enough that I haven't had a single problem. This is the very first pair of shoes I've ever had that hasn't left my feet in pain by the end of the day, so I give these shoes two very enthusiastic thumbs up. They're cute, they're comfy and my feet truly aren't tired at all by the end of the day - how often can you say that after spending 15 hours on your feet?

I wanted it to fit! It's a cute shoe, but it's not for narrow feet. No matter how much I adjusted the straps, my heels still slipped. Also, I'm a 9.5 so I order the 9-9.5 size per the recommendation and it was just a tad too short. I think the 10-10.5 would have been too big. Also, something on the top strap (the stitching?) rubbed the top of my foot (and this was only when doing a test run around my house). My guess is that it would rub my foot raw if I wore them for long walk.

This is a great walking shoe for hot weather. It feels great with or without my custom orthotics inside. I even have high instep and the wide strap is comfortable, no ache across the top of the instep.

Cute! I ordered these shoes for my trip to Ireland and only wore them once in 10 days. My running shoes ended up being more comfortable for long days on my feet. These are super cute and are exactly what I wanted although they are not as comfortable as I had hoped-they feel great at first, but the toe box is stiff. These feel just a little too small after a few hours on your feet. Arch support could be better, but it's fine. If you have trouble with your feet, I'd try something else.

Urban warriors - Not a pretty shoe, bbut great for summertime subway commuting. Very comfortable!

Not quite as comfy as they look. Love the look of these shoes but was a little disappointed in the lack of cushiness...but does work well with inserts.

FANTASTIC! I am a heels-with-matching-purse kind of girl who avoids walking beyond four NYC blocks. Since I got these shoes, I have been walking and walking and walking! These are comfy from the first second out of the box (note: get one size smaller for perfect fit). They are stylish and go well with anything; I even use them to walk home from work in a suit (15 NYC blocks!). This purchase got my husband to check out Zappos as well. Whatever got his wife to walk must be fantastic indeed.

Very Comfortable - I have high arches and most shoes make my feet hurt after a few hours. Not these shoes - I wore them all day and my feet feel great! They run a little wide, but are easily adjusted with the velcro straps. I love the light and airy feel (compared to a regular sneaker) and great arch support. I will buy these in other colors. Lengthwise, they felt true to size. I wear a size 7 and I ordered size 38.

Ecco Perf. X-Treme Jane - At first I loved these shoes but after a week I now regret dropping the $ on them. I wish I could return them but I've worn them so I'm stuck. Oh well. Biggest complaint... I feel like I have to re-learn how to walk in these shoes. I feel like my foot-step is falling so awkwardly in these shoes and as such I'm developing shin splints. Ugh. Also, although they're vented, that doesn't prevent them from becoming stinky. You need socks but then you look dorky.

Wonderful Walking Shoe by Ecco - These are comfortable right out of the box! If you are in need of comfortable shoes in a jiffy (perhaps due to an upcoming vacation or the like), give these a try. They certainly run larger than marked by at least a half size, so please take care to order accordingly - I am a true size 6 with a slightly wider foot and the size 36 fits like a 6.5. I put in my inserts and they fit almost perfectly. They are very roomy in the toe box and are adjustable to a degree with the 2 velcro straps (can't believe I now own a pair of shoes with Velcro, but I will admit they are much easier to put on and take off than typical lace-up sneakers). I abhor wearing sneakers, but I needed to find something cute and comfortable due to an injury to my left leg. These are quite cute for a sneaker/walking shoe and I like how they look peeking out from under my jeans. I have the off white/orange combo and they are very neutral and manage to be feminine, which is very important to me. I only have 2 issues with this shoe: Firstly, I was surprised with the lack of arch support. To make these shoes truly comfortable, you will probably need to put in inserts. Secondly, the insoles are not made of a breathable material and can cause sweatiness. Last, but not least... Zappos provides the best online shopping experience! I have been ordering from Zappos for the past 3 years and have never been disappointed with their service. No one else comes close and all other online businesses should look to Zappos as an example.
