This is my 3rd pair of ECCO gym shoes. This pair is lightweight and very comfortable. The color is just right. I don't want to wear a black gym shoe or an extraordinary color shoe. I can wear this anywhere, with anything. This is my 2nd pair with the mesh. It is very lightweight and breathable but it does wear out faster than a more traditional (and heavier) shoe. All of my ECCO shoes are a little wide at the ball of the foot. But I wear a lot of high-heel shoes that have a much smaller base. It is nice that I feel like my toes actually have some room! Great product and as always excellent service from Zappos.

These are great shoes. I wear them everyday until they are worn out! They work with my orthotics and are super comfortable. This is my fifth pair of Eccos since the Receptor model and I like these as much.

I bought these to replace a pair of Ecco receptors bought in 2005. Now, as then, I wear one size smaller than I'd normally wear. I wear a 6B in most shoes but take a 36 (a 5-5.5) in these. The area around the heel seems a lot stiffer than the first pair, but am hoping they will soften up with wear (thus the 4 starts for comfort). I love the mesh insets that keep the feet cooler while working out or for long walks. They have great arch support.

I was pleasantly surprised by this shoe - felt comfortable as soon as I put it on, and has continued to feel comfortable during walking and light hiking. I wear a size 11, long toes, bunion, slightly high arch, narrow in the midstep - and the 42 fit me well - nice room in the toe box, slim enough to hold my foot comfortably without being snug. Nice cushioning and arch support. And the pull tab allows me to adjust the cord to fit my foot width. To top it off, in the black/grey combo, it looks great. Very happy with my purchase!

I am so glad I found this shoe and purchased it from your site. I am always looking for a comfortable shoe because I walk at least 10,000 steps 5 mornings a week. I have flat feet that are wide across the toes. This usually causes uncomfortale problems with tightness at the top of a shoe and way too much room in the heel area. I have problems with calluses on the side of each small toe along with calluses on the outside of each heel. Too much room is not good either. Finally, I don't have these problems with this shoe. The Ecco Performance Ultra Terrain Colorado is a very comfortable shoe that solves all of my foot problems as I get my a.m. steps in. I want another pair!

Disappointed. I read other reviews that said these run large and I'm a size nine in regular shoes and a 10 in running shoes, so I ordered the 9 and they were very small. They also felt hard, instead of soft and cushy. I sent them back.

These are the shoes I wore on my 500 mile pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostella, Spain, via Camino Francis. I walked from May 8th through June 15th, needless to say, we were blessed with little rain. The best thing about these shoes for me is the elasticized shoe strings. Constantly retying shoe strings is very inconvenient and you don't have to worry at all with these. The sole is comfortable too. I am amazed that the pilgrims of yesteryear did it without the help of special shoes like this.

These shoes fit well and are pretty comfortable. The inside isn't as soft as I'd like, nor does it have enough arch support. However, there's a wide toe box so my poor aching feet (bunions) are okay in them. The non-tie shoe lace is new for me, but I sort of like it. There was no breaking in required. I was traveling and wore them up and down hills the first time. No problem. So, overall, pretty good.
