I bought these a week before I went to Yellowstone. Did not hike, just some small trails. They are great. They fit a little tight but after wearing them around the house for a few days they were perfect for the size. The weather was very warm and then very cold and they were comfortable and not heavy. I would recommend these boots.

After trying at least 10 different boots from Zappos (I love the free delivery and return policy), I finally found a boot that fits my narrow foot. Waterproof, lightweight and very comfortable. I normally need to use an insert, but not with these boots.

Very comfortable. Decent arch support. Track foot in straight line to keep body alignment. Good if you have low back issues to keep you supported while trudging through the snow. Warm with wool socks.

These are my most comfortable shoes ever! The reason I say shoes is, I own over hundred pair of shoes and these are the best feeling pair I have. It is like they were made for my feet. great arch support, roomy toe, but too roomy. And best of all when I went to Maine in the dead of winter my feet were like little babies tucked away in soft smart wool socks. Not one little toe uncomfortable. Love them so much I am buying pairs for my college age twins.
