Overall:

I bought these shoes for my 87 year old father who lives in Ohio. He loves them for their stability, comfort and water resistance. Ecco offers great quality; they are well worth the price.

I've been very happy with these shoes- got them for the fall/winter to wear around to the park, playground, etc. VERY comfortable, great support, I love Eccos. I wear between an 8 and 8.5 shoe, more often 8 and got the size 39- perfect!

I just returned from a trip to France where I wore these shoes for the first time (took a chance they'd be comfortable!). I was right; I did miles of walking in Paris is one day with these on and my feet felt great at the end of the day.

Just got back from a two week trip abroad wearing these shoes every day with lots of walking over every kind of surface. Never once did my feet hurt from these shoes, no rubbing, no tightness, no problems at all. I have a foot that tends towards the wide side; these shoes adjust both on top and around the heel area so you can custom fit them to your foot. Even though I bought them specifically for my trip, these are great all around comfortable shoes. They're cute, too. I highly recommend these shoes.

Overall:

I was looking for a really comfortable sandal that I could walk in all day while traveling. These sandals are really comfortable, but do run wide. My feet are fairly wide at the toes, and narrow at the heels. I have to have the strap adjusted as tight as it will go. That said, they are unbelievably comfortable and I would recommend them for travel.

I have narrow thin feet with issues (plantar fasciitis and metatarsalgia) and have ordered and returned a zillion pair of shoes from wonderful Zappos. The Ecco Elba are one of the few that are great for me! The Elba has good cushion in the bottom and solid rubber soles, moderate arch support, lots of toe room, soft material and are really cute. The velcro allows for them to tighten enough but stay comfy. I have them on now without socks, but presume that they will work well with socks, too.

Typical Ecco. Broken in the minute you put them on. Good orthotics for factory orthotics. On my feet at a dead run for 12 hours a day and never complain about my feet being sore or tired. You really cannot go wrong with Ecco anythings!

Bought these for my husband. True to size. Comfortable toe box. Good looking and the elastic closure means no laces to open when you don\'t want them to.

I was so hopeful. These shoes look great. The support is just what I need. But alas, the toe area was too narrow and the back too wide, even with the strap pulled as tightly as possible. Not as important, but noteworthy, is that the pair I tried has a distinct rubber-like smell.

I have been purchasing Ecco footwer for years. The RXP6040 model is their best walking shoe yet. They are so good that my wife bought a pair for herself as well. I hope Ecco continues to make this model.

I have tried two pairs of the Ecco sandals. I wear a 11.5 in women's but the sandal was too short. The combo size is not long enough to qualify for an 11.5

I had a pair of Earth Shoes, Sandals, and liked them but they were a little heavy and over time I had to have the straps re-sewn a number of times. I finally decided to send them to sandal heaven and got online and looked at Zappos and the Ecco Performance Yucatan Sandal. I received them in a few days. I have worn them a few weeks now and love them. They are attractive, lightweight, very comfortable. I have two happy feet that thank me at the end of the day.

At first I didn't think these were the "prettiest" sandal, but they are awesome. Love them. Walked all day in them and feet weren't ever tired, pinched, or sore. Highly recommend them. They are made well and fit true to size.

I have never been happier with the comfort or appearance of any footwear. This sandal is so soft it totally belies the support it gives to the arch and heel, and, whatever part shows any sign that it will wear soon has not made itself obvious yet.\r\nI will have to get used to the European look of the Ecco shoe because I won\'t compromise again, ever.

Overall:

I wanted a shoe that was very comfortable and that I could use in the Colorado winters to walk my dog. These shoes fit the bill and are worth paying a little extra for. The comfort is top notch, they appear to be quite waterproof and are nice looking shoes to boot.

Bought these for 2 week Italian vacation and wore them all over Rome, Florence and Positano. More walking than I've done in years. Super lightweight and comfy, well suited to wider toe-box, narrow heel. Bought them in black, so only whispered "Tourist".

This is an addendum to my recently posted review. After test driving this model at the house, I had to return it. I over pronate. But this shoe is built for the excessive over pronator rather than for someone with mild over pronation. After my standing and walking test drive, my knees began to complain, and that was a big signal that the shoes were not the correct ones for my needs. I have a left foot that pronates and aggravates a bunion, but I have a right foot that was previously broken and which now supinates. Elaine, in Zappos' Running Shoe Assistance Department, was really helpful in providing info on how to find a compromise between my two feet. She and the department's "Guru" recommended a neutral cushioning shoe. I have found both neutral-to-mild-pronation and neutral-to-mild-supination shoes at Zappos, which might solve my problem. So, thank you, Elaine and the mysterious Guru! I really appreciated it when Elaine said that she cared less about making the sale than about helping me to find the right shoe that wouldn't exacerbate my past injury. And thanks, Zappos, for your very helpful shoe descriptions which give your customers the necessary facts to make informed buying decisions. For this, and for so many other reasons, I am a past fan; present fan; future fan.

This is one of the best shoes I have bought from Zappos. While the pair of shoes is on the expensive side, they are top quality and are extremely durable. Made for hiking, they are good for casual wear. The GORE-TX lining adds to comfort keeping my feet dry and warm.

I had plantar fasciaits and I could not walk. I found Ecco shoes and my life changed forever. I use these for my daily walks and when I get home my feet feel great. I do not experience any more pain.

I have them on right now! They are my shoe of choice these days. I have had problems with my feet and need greater arch support. This sandal really helps. I like this year's dark brown color, very Fall! I throw them in the washing machine and hang them to dry. If these wear out and this style is still available, I will buy them again.

Having been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and going through 10 pairs of sneakers in the past year, my mother gave me a pair when she got a size too big and now I am shopping for the same shoe. I have become an Ecco for life customer. 100% satisfied.

I have plantar fasciitis, so my choices are limited. This shoe allows me to use my orthotic inserts and still have plenty of wiggle room! Small caution: the sizes run a little big (even with orthotics in place).
