These ECCO shoes run true to the brand. Sizing is a bit larger than normal and the break-in period last about 10 wearing days, but the wait is worth it as the shoe really conforms to your foot and the comfort level beats just about any other shoe available. I have had a pair of ECCOs in my closet for 15 years and even re-soled, they continue to be my favorites.

A great shoe! Compares favorably to Bostonian, Kenneth Cole, Johnston & Murphy mostly because of the comfort. True to ECCO form, this is a great-looking dress shoe that's way more comfortable than it looks. I'll probably buy these again.

Really comfortable shoes. Eccos are not the best looking dress shoe. They are, nevertheless, near the top in comfort. As I get older, comfort has supplanted style in priority. If you believe similarly and are willing to pay a lot of money for these on sale. I highly recommend them.

First off Zappos is great. The return policy and ease of returning an item makes online shoe shopping much less worry free. Shipping is fast. I love Ecco shoes. They are incredibly comfortable and light. I walk anywhere from .5 to 1 mile per day to work. I also walk a lot when I get to work. These shoes handle it no problem and my feet feel great. They also look great. Very much a dress shoe for suit and tie but can be worn with jeans and a nice shirt for casual day. Great shoes, great online store.

A few months ago I was looking for a shoe that could do it all: a shoe that could be worn with a suit, with slacks and with jeans. I also needed a shoe that didn't need a lot of break-in time and was lightweight (I was leaving for a 2 week b-trip to China). This shoe fit the bill and didn't disappoint. This shoe is comfortable out of the box. The rubber sole makes long working days and walks seem a little shorter. The light weight makes these shoes a dream to pack for business trips. And although it struggles a little to be formal enough for a suit, they can definitely pull it off. Overall, I'm very happy with the versatility and comfort provided by the Ecco NJ Tie. As always, Zappos was a dream to work with.

My husband has other Eccos, and these just didn't work for him. He said they were narrower than the other pairs he has, and the inside of the shoe wasn't as comfortable.

For Oxford shoes these are very comfortable. Ecco makes an outstanding shoe. Since discovering Ecco I used for work, I now buy Ecco for everything.

I bought of pair of these in the brown color at a dept store and fell in love with them. So I came onto Zappos and bought the black version. It's an Ecco and it does not disappoint...lots of comfort. And they are tweeners...can go with casual slacks as well as more more formal dress pants.

Great shoe, style, fit, comfort all exceptional. The sole is slightly more refined from previous Ecco shoes I've had in the past. It is actually black, where in the past they tended to be mostly black but with a slight grey tone. These are perfect.

So I bought another pair of shoes that just didn't fit my foot right and they hurt. Zappos took them back several months later without receipt or box and I was so impressed that I bought this pair of dress shoes and by the way I love them. They are very comfortable on my feet and I am a massive Zappos fan because of their customer service.

Wore this shoe every other day for 2 years serving an LDS mission in England. Harsh wet weather conditions and walking up and down streets for 8-10 hours a day. They held up to the very end.

Comfortable shoe: but I already knew that because they are ECCOs. What sold me on this one was the style and the wonderful coloring of the upper. It does take a couple weeks of every other day use to break in. I wanted a synthetic sole for the rainy days in New Haven, given that my other pair are leather soled Allen Edmonds. This shoe has a high place in my arsenal of footwear.
