This is a seriously elegant shoe, and it's generously sized (I wear sizes 7.5 and 8, and size 38 feels more like 8 than 7 or 7.5). The heel is 3 1/4 inches which feels just right for everyday wear, if you don't have to stand all day. If the sole were a bit more flexible, I would call these "comfort shoes." I have them in black and brown, and I do wear them every day, with pants, skirts and jeans.
