Earlier this summer, I bought my son an expensive pair of Stride Rite closed toe sandals I had hoped would last through the summer. Unfortunately, within a couple of weeks they were completely destroyed, to the point of being unwearable! I ordered the Ecco Trailblazer because of the great luck I have had with Eccos. My son loves them and they are surviving the demands of an active 6 year old beautifully. I would highly recommend this sandal over the comparable Stride Rite versions.

Ecco Jack Trailblazer Leather - Perfect for the little boy!
I got these shoes for my 2YO, in beige. Great fit. Great color. Good toe protection for the busy toddlers, yet airy for hot summer days. Great quality. Definitively a keeper!

This is the second time we buy these sandals. We had them last year too. They are really great. My son refused to throw them away even though they were small until I got him the bigger size this summer.

I ordered this for my son last year and again this year because it fits his foot so well. It never leaves marks on his foot and doesn't need broken in. He loves them!

Great sandals. My three year old son wore it all Summer long last year, so I was happy to find them again in a larger size. Very sturdy construction, almost shoe-like foot protection yet very breezy. I like the extra adjustable strap on the back for those fast growing little feet. They're a bit heavier than I was expecting them to be.

Most PERFECT shoe ever!
This was $30 more than I wanted to spend, but oh my gosh--what a perfect fit! No blisters, no breaking in time. My boy wears a wide, and these fit to a tee in wide--plus the straps on the top and the back allow for customizing the fit. I have long been a Jumping Jacks fan, but these take the cake. I guess you get what you pay for, and Ecco is one heck of a shoe. The brown is gorgeous, and will work for both play and dress-up.

THE SANDAL for active toddlers.
This shoe is also the fifth I got from Zappos when trying to find one that fit my son's fat feet. Zappos service was out of the ordinary and this shoe is not only super comfy but also much more elegant than it looks in the picture. My son is wearing them without socks and there are no blisters at all. I think they are a size smaller than marked.

This is "thee" best little sneaker/sandal. My two year old son's foot is both wide and thick (very high instep) and I really wanted him to have a sneaker (because he is starting with the tricycle and playing a bit rougher now). I also wanted him to have a sandal so his foot could feel air and not have to wear socks with a traditional sneaker during NY City's hot/humid summer. I purchased and returned 5 pairs of sneaker/sandals trying to find one that would fit the width and depth of my boy's fat foot. I was about to give up and decided to call the Zappos.com, kids shoes, representative. She told me that European shoes for children are generally cut larger-- so, I looked under the European category, saw this beautiful shoe and ordered it. Yes, it's pricey, BUUUUTTT, they fit beautifully. Went on with ease, don't pinch him anywhere and he runs and jumps just like he would in a sneaker. Excellent support. I bought the sandy color, they go with everything. If I could, I would shake the hands of the designer of this shoe. Will definitely be buying from Ecco again. Thank you to Zappos.com for all of your assistance. I truly appreciate the input. If you are having the same problem as I was having try Ecco along with New Balance and See Kai Run.
