Earlier this summer, I bought my son an expensive pair of Stride Rite closed toe sandals I had hoped would last through the summer. Unfortunately, within a couple of weeks they were completely destroyed, to the point of being unwearable! I ordered the Ecco Trailblazer because of the great luck I have had with Eccos. My son loves them and they are surviving the demands of an active 6 year old beautifully. I would highly recommend this sandal over the comparable Stride Rite versions.

As a grandmother, I like to help out by buying the shoes for the granddaughters. Zappos is great because my daughter, who lives 500 miles away, and I can get on line to decide which shoes best meet the girl’s current needs. Eccos are really great because they provide the support and flexibility needed for active, growing youngsters. They hold up and are comfortable. The girls love 'em.

I bought these shoes for my daughter in pink and she LOVES them. She is 2.5 and very proud of these. Also, they are easy for her to put on and off by herself.

These sandals are relatively comfortable for my 6 year old son. He has a lot of trouble finding comfortable sandals. If we make the sandal straps on these sandals tight, my son gets marks on his feet, so we have to leave them a little loose.

My almost-6 yr old son loves these! They came, he ripped open the box and said, "Ooh feel how soft the bottoms are." What he meant was that the footbed felt soft. He put them on and said, "There is so much air!" I guess he forgot how open fisherman sandals are. He's been wearing them ever since. He loves them and so do I. A quality product and a thumbs up from my son! I have no doubt that these will take a good beating from outdoor play all summer.

My son wears these everyday for all activities (walking to school, running, playing basketball, etc.). We really like ECCO in general. Feet do not get too hot, which is great for the summer.

I love this shoe. My daughter had the same exact pair last summer and wore them almost everyday. She is very active and they were great for walking, playground etc. They held up very well, so this summer I ordered the same sandal in the next size up.

My daughter loves these sandals. The foot bed is padded, has a little arch support, & appears comfortable. The rubberized & textured sole provides good traction, is durable but not excessively stiff. The lip of the shoe around the heel has extra padding. I ordered the pink and the color is not so deep that it's difficult to match to other pinks -- it is pretty much versatile. It's a cute shoe for casual summer wear. The only thing I would change is the strap; the velcro strap is a bit thick therefore difficult to thread through the little metal ring, and once it's threaded it is difficult to slide it - there is resistance. This frustrated my daughter for the first day, but she soon learned to loosen the velcro tab but not disengage it -- she opens the velcro then slides her foot out (the strap is still pretty much in place but loosened). To put the sandal back on, she would slide her foot under the strap then secure the tab again. As usual, good Zappos service -- I received these early.

These are the third set of shoes that I have bought over the past 2 years. My daughter loves them! The last pair she finally wore out after 10 months. They are very comfortable for her and I love how they come so quickly. They seemed a little big (long) for the size but they still work and will for awhile. Totally worth the price if she wears them for 10 months again.

Great Sandal! Last summer I had a hard time finding a good sandal for my toddler’s high instep. We finally looked at Ecco online and it was a great fit with no irritation or red marks. This summer I only looked at Ecco styles and once again, this one was a great fit and style. I ordered from Zappos for their speedy delivery and no hassle returns.

Bought these in pink for my 18 month yr old. At first was a bit disappointed since I had really wanted to buy some sandals that were more of a sling back style, but absolutely love these! Great support for her, and as per usual an excellent cushiony soft sole and cute style.

Excellent sandal, but I expect nothing less from this company ECCO. Truly comfortable for my 3 year old. I was a bit worried about the "sheen" at first, but it’s a unique finish and goes great with everything. My daughter refers to them as her "sparkly shoes".

Looking "old and worn" after 1 month - Bought these sandals for my 3 year old and my 1 year old just over a month ago. My 3 year old's look like she's worn them everyday for a year! We've only had them a month and she does not play in them. Only wears them to run errands, etc. The silver is almost peeling off. Must be something with the silver coating? My 1 year old's look great - I'm thinking because she's usually in a stroller, but you should be able to walk in shoes, right?

Ecco Jack Trailblazer Leather - Perfect for the little boy! I got these shoes for my 2YO, in beige. Great fit. Great color. Good toe protection for the busy toddlers, yet airy for hot summer days. Great quality. Definitively a keeper!

Beautiful but sizing makes you crazy! These are beautiful shoes for both of my boys. And comfortable, as Dad wears Ecco too! But the sizing made me crazy! It took three orders for me to straighten out the sizing on these for both boys; thank goodness for Zappos' shipping policies! They sure didn't make any money on us on this order but I love these shoes.

This is a very cute sneaker -- practical for play, but more stylish and sleeker than some. It's pink and a little shimmery (key for my 5-year old), but not garish. It ran a little small and is also on the narrow side. Zappos customer service is excellent -- the best I've experienced on-line. I had to exchange this shoe for a larger size. Zappos processed the return immediately -- sent me the new shoe before I'd sent back the original one. In contrast, another on-line site recently sent me the wrong item, but would neither refund my payment nor ship what I had actually ordered until they'd received my return.

No-tie shoe great for little feet! This shoe is great for little ones because they are impossible to untie. The laces are better than velcro for getting a snug fit, but the bungee cord means no laces to untie. The only drawback I've seen so far is the toe area above the black rubber has rubbed a little since my little girl is still crawling some. It hasn't worn nearly as much as other shoes though and is pretty durable. I would have liked the black part to come up a little bit more to alleviate this problem.

No more blisters!! I lost count of how many sandals my daughter tried before I just said enough! My husband and I own these sandals and cannot say enough good things about them. When my daughter put these on for the first time, she was all smiles and said they were perfect! They are completely adjustable so they are an ideal fit. The price is a tough pill to swallow, but I realize this is going to be a problem free shoe and her first choice for comfort.

These certainly look like they'd be fun for the summer....however, need to clarify prior reviewer's comments that 'seem like they would be good for a narrow foot'. This is NOT a narrow shoe...my daughter has had narrow feet since birth and it is a really challenge to find shoes that fit her well. Occasionally there are Ecco styles that run narrow, but this is not one of them. It does run true to size.

Very Handsome Shoe - It appears to be about a half size smaller than marked, but the shoe is very nice. According to my grandson, it is a comfortable fit.
