These shoes are comfortable and look great and my son will actually wear them without pitching a fit, which is a miracle. Love them!

My son and I are very happy with this sandal. It is very comfortable, the foot is surrounded by soft leather. The enclosed heel gives stability. We keep ordering this model in increasing sizes for his growing feet, he his currently wearing his third pair.

It has been a pleasure buying my twin grandchildren shoes from Zappos. I will be honest to say the toddlers have not had the opportunity to wear the Ecco Kids Snowball boot, but they tried them on and fit just beautifully. The boot is quality with a very good give to hand, bends nicely. Weather in NY has not been that cold as yet.

My son loves these boots! They keep his feet dry on rainy days (most days here in the Fall and Winter) and are comfy enough to run around at recess with no problem. The sizing is good and the boots look great and are easy to put on and take off.

These are cute, but slip off my daughter's feet, which are quite narrow. She wore the similar ones with ankle straps all of last year. I just ordered a new pair of those instead of these. If your feet are average or wide, these would be awesome as they wear like iron. The toes don't scuff, the soles will look like new after months of abuse, including mud.

My daughter and I love these boots! They are not a chunky winter boot and that's what makes them perfect for everyday use. The Gore-Tex fabric keeps her feet nice and dry during our Canadian winters! Just to mention, this is the third year in a row that she's wearing these boots; a new size per year of course.

I bought these for my 2nd grader who has to wear black leather shoes to Catholic school. I winced at the cost, but I think they are worth the extra money for durability and comfort. After two months of pretty hard wear, including recess, PE and pick-up football games, the Ecco shoes are in fine shape - just clean and polish once in awhile. They are my son's favorite shoes, which is odd for a 2nd grade boy. He wears them voluntarily to non-school occasions like church - so they must be comfortable!

I bought these shoes for my son who only wears running shoes or basketball shoes. He needed a pair of nice looking shoes for special events, synagogue, etc. He says for non-sports shoes, they are pretty comfortable. He wore them for 4 hours straight and did not complain. They may run a little small to size.

Does your child go to private school, change shoes for gym and need to look dressed up, but wants to be comfortable (and has not learned to tie their shoes)? This is the shoe for you. Looks good all the time. Easy to put on. Conforms with all uniform standards. This is a good bet.

My son loves these shoes. They are the only dress shoes I can ever get him to wear without a fight. They are comfortable and run true to size. I have bought them at least four times-- every time he outgrows them I buy the next size.

My son has worn these to school for 5 days now. The shoes have given him a blister on one of his heels. I am hoping that they just need to be broken in a bit. The shoe looks great with his school uniform and seems to fit well overall.

My four year old loves these shoes. She has been wearing them every day to preschool, playing at playground with sand for the past four months and they still look great. What I love most about it is the heal and ankle support. It keeps her feet in right angle. Very easy to put and take off. She has the silver color, and receives a lot of complements. Great service Zappos, thank you!

Overall: (5 Stars)

I just recently purchased the Ecco Kids Hope shoes for my daughter's new school year. We love these shoes. They are very comfortable for her to run and play in. The material moves with her foot movement and they allow her feet to "breathe" so that they don't become overly sweaty. My child has a flat, wide foot, and it is often hard to find shoes, at regular stores, that fit her foot. When I was buying her regular tennis shoes or mary jane style shoes, she would constantly complain about them hurting her feet and that her feet were hot. Since I discovered Ecco kids shoes I have never purchased a different brand of shoes than Ecco for my child. Every year we buy Ecco shoes for school, and I will continue to purchase them because they are by far the most comfortable shoe we have ever found. They also last a very long time. My daughter wears her Ecco shoes every single day at school and play, and they really last. The reason we have to buy new shoes is because her foot grows, not because the shoes get "messed up." In fact we give her too small Ecco shoes to our neighbor's daughter, who is then able to wear them for her school year. These shoes really last. We love Ecco shoes and we would never buy another brand. Thank you Ecco for making such great children's shoes.

These are the best shoes for little boys. I rebought these once my son grew out of them. They are sturdy, but still have enough give for their busy activities. They are easy to get on and off, especially when he needs to change at school for gym. My son loves them, too. I highly recommend them.

Beware for cold climates, have a mesh top. The shoes are great, but we live in Michigan, and these were not suitable as a "back to school" shoe for our climate. They would be more suited to a more moderate climate. Please inform the consumer that the top is made of a breathable mesh!

It took my husband and I a long time to find summer shoes for our twins. We were new to shopping for baby shoes, and made a few mistakes before finding these Eccos. We've loved them. Our girls have seemed very comfortable in them from the very first. Good quality, they still look good after some hard wearing, and go with everything. Highly recommended!

This is great gym shoe. My seven year old daughter originally picked some silver and pink Nike shoes, but I ordered these as well to compare fit, etc. We both loved these and returned the Nikes. They are extremely lightweight, comfortable and super cute on. The lacing with the toggle is very convenient for keeping shoes "tied" throughout the school day.

About Ecco Kids

ECCO's roots in defying convention run deep. 40 years ago in the small southern Jutland town of Bredebro, Denmark, Karl Toosbuy pioneered a revolution in footwear, choosing comfort over conformity. Tired of having his feet mold to his shoes, he charged that the foot should lead the shoe. A new type of footwear was born.

ECCO Kids doesn't compromise. Comfort, flexibility, Scandinavian design, and thriving innovation lead the way, shaping how we build shoes for men, women, and children.

Quality and craftsmanship make ECCO kids shoes famous and create loyal fans who prize their comfort and value. Choose ECCO Kids and, like many, you may never choose to wear any other shoe. If you want a comfortable shoe that does not compromise with trends, time, or comfort, then ECCO Kids is the right choice.
