I'm a long time Ecco fan, mostly because the insole is removable -- a must for anyone that requires a custom orthotic. The fit is great and the shoe is much lighter than some of the other styles I've worn (i.e. GTX Boot). The only real negative I have so far is that the laces are not nearly as red as the image. I was hoping for a bright red, but instead they are a little more maroon/merlot in color. They do ship with a black lace also, which is good because these are somewhat fatter and non-standard to the Ecco line of shoes. I'd love to know where I can purchase the other colors (there is a blue and I think a yellow/tan for the other styles).

Great shoes, lightweight, comfortable. These are for around town or light hiking and not meant for the rigors of backpacking etc. Like them so much I purchased them for my son as well.
