The material on these looks and feels great, but they run a bit narrow and Zappos neither explains the size chart for the width or lets you pick a different width than a Women's M. I am going to have to return them, because as a 5'8" woman, they were much shorter than expected and the boot itself is so narrow/tight that it hurts a bit to wear them. If the process of ordering them so they fit correctly, I would have loved to be able to keep them because the material and style is awesome.

Elegant, lightweight boot. Unfortunately, typical Euro fit with wider heel and narrower toe than fits my 7.5 M foot! Sometimes Ecco works for me, sometimes it doesn't. Despite the lack of a zipper, boot was easy to get on/off but the fabric shank did not fit my "skinny" calves. Also not much support around the arch/ankle areas. Zappos was fab again about getting my order to me quickly, overnight even the day after Labor Day (when I placed the order).
Brands I'd also recommend: Clarke Artisan, Wave, and Un-lines, Born (if you don't need orthotics), Brooks, Merrell (also if you don't need orthotics), some Ecco styles

I have these boots in the shoe style and love them as boots. they fit like a shoe and are so light and flexible for traveling, you can roll them up. they look great with leggings or skirts. i took out the insole and put in my own orthotics and they are roomy and comfy.

These boots are perfect. They look great with shirts and dresses because they have a sleek low profile. The Goretex makes them breathable and so comfortable. And they're packable too!

I absolutely love these boots! I have fibromyalgia which means I get a lot of chronic pain, so high-heeled shoes are difficult for me. These boots have arch support and look extremely elegant for a flat boot-dressy enough that I wear them with dresses and skirts. Another amazing feature is that they are completely waterproof, so they can be worn as dressy rain boots as well. In terms of the fit, my calves are about 13 inches in diameter, so finding a knee-high boot that met my comfort needs was a challenge until I discovered this boot from Ecco. Given the stretchy material, I believe this boot could fit a wider calf, but from my experience this boot looks great on skinny legs. I wholeheartedly recommend this boot to anyone looking for a classy, comfortable, waterproof boot!
