These are pretty comfortable and reasonably stylish with a hint of European flair. I bought them to wear with jeans or business casual, to look a little better than running shoes. The leather is soft and rich. I am happy with them but they are not as comfortable as my Salomon running shoes.

I have owned a pair of Ecco's that I use only occasionally due to style and color. They are very comfortable, but the Euro size 42 is a bit on the small side for my USA 9.5 feet, so when I needed walking shoes for a two-week trip to Europe, I checked these out. I ordered size 43, which is supposed to be equal to a 9-9.5 US. Not close. I wear a 9.5 and these were at least a 10. The other issue is the support. It's very high. I need a moderate amount but this is much more than moderate.
