From the moment I put these shoes on, I knew they were going to be the most comfortable flats I have ever purchased. I purchased the black patent. Great quality and true to size! Super fast shipping!

Finaly, the flats you can actually walk in! They have moderate arch support, comfortable enough for me. I bought a first pair in a local shoe store. I wore them to work two(!) days in a raw, which almost never happens. I liked them so much, I came to Zappo\'s for a second pair in a different color. What a beautiful and versatile shoes! Go literally with everything!

These shoes are not very comfortable. They do not have arch support, since they are Eccos I was very surprised they didn't have support.

Really comfortable, and attractive enough for work. I'm on my feet all day, and go up and down stairs frequently during my workdays. These shoes fit very well, though I ordered a size smaller (Euro 36, rather than 37) than I thought I should, because the color I wanted was only available in the smaller size. It fit perfectly! I see that there are already 52 reviews, but I want to add mine. Even though the shoe is a bit pricey, it is well worth it.

These are the most comfortable and practical shoes ever, and they are SOO cute. I only own like 3 pairs of shoes and this is one of them. I work at a children's hospital and am on my feet all day. These shoes do wonders and my feet NEVER hurt. The only downfall is that the buttoned strap did break once and the department store kindly replaced them. I am planning on buying all the colors!!

Additional Brand Information

ECCO began as a response to uncompromising footwear. More than 40 years ago in the small southern Jutland town of Bredebro, Denmark, Karl Toosbuy pioneered a revolution in footwear, choosing comfort over conformity. Tired of having his feet mold to his shoes, he charged that the foot should lead the shoe. A new type of footwear was born in ECCO shoes, crafted both by hand and "by heart".

ECCO doesn't compromise. Comfort, flexibility, Scandinavian design, and thriving innovation lead the way, shaping how ECCO builds men's shoes, women's shoes, and childrens' shoes.

Quality and craftsmanship make ECCO shoes famous and create loyal fans who prize their comfort and value. Choose ECCO shoes, sandals, and boots, like many, you may never choose to wear any other footwear. Comfort, without compromising trends or the times, makes ECCO shoes the right choice.

Cute, comfy and narrow enough - Finally, a stylish and well-made Maryjane for adults! My black Ecco Bouillons are really cute, but not cutesy. I wear them with socks and slacks in the winter, although I plan to use felt-like corrective insoles (and no socks) during warm weather. This pair is narrow-enough for my narrow feet (with socks or inserts), although I'd prefer that the straps have elastic, just in case they stretch. There's one little place that rubs on one foot, but I'm hoping that will go away in time. Other than that, very comfy, and I wore them out-of-the-box without needing to break them in.

ECCO's Bouillon Maryjanes - The only negative statement I have is that the right shoe is uncomfortable across the top of my foot after wearing it for a while. No problem w/the left shoe!

When a ballerina flat won't stay on your feet - I was after a well-made ballerina flat but even the Ecco Coto won't stay on my feet. This Maryjane is a great substitute, and the strap is long enough that it goes over my high arch. It doesn't actually touch my arch most of the time, but is there to keep the shoe on. One downside for this flat is that the sole is thin, so it can be hard on your feet if you do a lot of walking. But for those times when you want the cuteness of a flat, this shoe fits the bill.

These shoes could fly Dorothy home to Kansas - I bought these shoes for my daughter- she needed a stylish, comfortable flat to wear with anything - from jeans to skirts. They are perfect. They are a pretty patent leather and remind me of the silver slippers Dorothy wore in the book, not the movie, Wizard of Oz. They are not too showy, just a hint of sparkle! I would buy a pair for myself but my daughter would kill me!

Excellent shoe... I have a hard time finding shoes due to hammertoe on both feet. I had been stuck wearing flip flops all year round as a result. It wasn't until I found this shoe. It's wide enough and so comfortable, the leather is so soft that I actually wore them in by like the second time I wore them. I also have them in the brown color and trust me it’s been the best investment I have made. The shoes are so cute, but above all, the most comfortable shoes I have worn in a long time.

Great shoe!!! I bought this shoe after seeing a friend wearing them with jeans and thought that they were so cool looking. I felt that the fit was true to size and they were pretty comfortable right out of the box. After wearing them a couple of times they are extremely comfortable! I love them so much I am considering getting them in a different color. :)

Cutest, most comfy Mary Janes - I can't believe I waited so long to get these. They are everything I dreamed they would be! Only trouble – I'm consistently a 39 in every Euro shoe except this one, where I take a 38. I have relatively narrow feet and medium arches, which a saleslady referred to as "perfect ECCO feet!" So keep that in mind.

Great Shoe! Cute shoe, very comfortable! I was looking for a shoe to walk around Paris with and through web research came up with these. Wore them around NYC for the day right out of the box and then all around Paris. Very comfortable, no need to break them in! The shoe is cute with jeans, skirt/tights, and slacks. I bought the patent leather - they are not stiff at all - in my regular size and width (6M).

I'm going to buy another pair. I've been looking for a simple Mary Jane that I can walk and ride my bike in, is appropriate for work and business meetings, and also looks good with a skirt after work. This shoe fits the bill! They barely needed to be broken in. I will say that they may be too narrow for some people. I purchased them because several other reviewers said they ran a bit narrow and I tend to find most shoes a little wide for me, particularly in the heel. I'm planning on buying at least one more pair in a different color. I love them! They don't have much in the way of cushion or arch support, so I plan on adding an insole, but haven't done it yet.

Cute but not comfortable - I bought these shoes in part because I saw a woman wearing them and thought they looked so cute. I also figured they would be comfortable. Unfortunately, they're not. It may be that the leather is too stiff, or that there is not enough support under the toes, but I found that I couldn't walk more than a block or two without my feet hurting. Also, the strap is not adjustable – I had it shortened by a shoe repair place, which worked fine.

Cute, comfy little shoe! I love these little maryjanes. They're super comfortable (right out of the box) and look great with pants and skirts. Perfect for skipping around town while being cute and comfy! One thing...I'm a size 6, albeit a small size 6. Though the US size 6 is listed as a 37, after trying those on in a local store they were HUGE on me. I ordered the 36 and they fit perfectly.

Too big and sloppy - This shoe had a clunky appearance but I needed a shoe for walking long distances while dressed well. The inner sole is slick, if you wear stockings as I do your foot slides all over the foot bed. The shoe was way too big. Normally Ecco fits me; did they sell to another company and maker?

Cute mary janes - These shoes are comfortable - once broken in. The arch by my toes rubbed a bit at first - nice size heel and sleek, stylish shoes. Great with slacks for work, comfortable walking shoe. I got these in black leather and love the feel of the shoe. A bit pricey, but excellent quality and support.

Wonderful! These shoes are by far the most comfortable I've ever bought (went with the red ones)! NO blisters at all, no break in period- perfect right out of the box! And they look great with everything! Plus they're flat, but not too flat. I think these would also be the perfect pregnancy shoes (not that I am now... but maybe someday), so I'm thinking of buying a pair or two for the future just in case they stop making them at that point. I walk EVERYWHERE in these shoes and they still look great. The footbed lining is starting to come loose, but I've really been wearing them to death for over 8 months, so that's not bad at all.

This shoe is not as stylish looking in person. It seems to run on the narrow side and did not provide any toe wiggle room. Not a good shoe for a lot of walking unless you have a narrower foot.
