Great shoe that looks good with jeans or slacks, and is super comfortable. I wear them most days. Felt a bit larger than size, but I wanted to insert my arch support anyway, and once I did that, they feel perfect. So, if you have your own insert that takes more space, the larger size is a good thing.

I have been faithful to Ecco dress shoes for over ten years. I finally have to replace two of my pairs that I have worn out. I LOVE Ecco dress shoes and have praised them to coworkers and friends for many years. I vividly remember trying on my first pair of Ecco shoes ten years ago and was astonished about how good a dress shoe could feel. I threw away all of my other dress shoes and went exclusively to three pair of Ecco dress shoes. I cannot get a pair to fit me now!!!! I have tried different sizes and none fit like they should. My foot size has not changed but the width of these new shoes, which are the same exact style as my old ones, are far too narrow and my feet are not comfortable in the new shoes, in fact, they are painful. I also noticed that the shoe "blocks" used to be made of wood and had a mechanism that kept the shoe shape. Well... no more! Now they cheapened them to the point of using paper composite and plastic sticks to try to emulate what they once did quite well. The Ecco that once changed my shoe world, no longer exists and I will need to find a new replacement. It is a sad state of affairs and I am now very frustrated, especially since these shoes cost retail. So long Ecco. :-(

Was looking for a replacement for the Austin slip-on, which doesn't seem to be made anymore. This looked very similar (and well-made), but when I tried it on, it didn't fit, even though it was the same size (44) as the Austin pair. I'll be reordering a size larger.

Wore these for the first time during a week-long trade show. Wouldn't try that with anything other than an Ecco shoe. My feet didn't hurt at all. Very comfortable shoe.

This is my husband's third pair of Ecco's. they are light and comfortable - almost like wearing dress house slippers. First time ordering shoes online. I would definitely do it again - especially from Zappos.
