Good for the office or the street. These shoes are by far the best looking shoes I have worn in quite some time and are at a decent price. I bought two pair, one black and the other burgundy, and like the way they look and feel. The break-in time is relatively short for such a rugged shoe. They run true to size so I bought them a half size bigger and decided to use a good pair of cushioned insoles with them as the shoe is quite roomy on the inside. The laces are a little long and thick so tying the knot can be a little loose at times. The thick rubber sole provides good traction in wet weather and the shoe keeps the foot dry. These shoes do not make your foot look big at all. Scuff marks will go away with a good buffing and unlike some other shoes I have owned, the top layer does not peel easily. The double stitching and sole is a nice touch and gives the shoe a sharp look when worn with denim or khakis.

This boot has a wide toe box, soft crepe sole, and is true to size. If you have trouble (pain) with your feet from junk shoes, this boot is the solution. Very comfortable and flexible.
Brands I'd also recommend: Clarks Wallabee

Wow! I just realized today while visiting Zappos.com that I bought these shoes 3 years ago! I haven't had the need to purchase new shoes but recently saw a pair that I liked. These Eastland Brooklyn's still hold up well after 3 years and still counting! I bought both the black and burgundy pair. I wear them with insoles and these shoes have outlasted three pairs of tennis shoes and two pairs of casual shoes. I wear them in an office environment with khakis or jeans. A well constructed shoe that does not come apart or unglued. The leather is soft but durable. Worn with a good pair of insoles these shoes will feel good on your feet all day long. As a network administrator I can spend a lot of time on my feet going from one place to another so it's important that my feet are comfortable both indoors and out. Highly recommend these shoes. The need for insoles and a midweight sock cannot be stressed enough, as they help maintain a level of comfort that the shoe does not deliver on it's own. I purchased the size 12 but I think my actual shoe size of 11.5 would have been suitable.
