I have a broad, deep foot which requires depth at the ball area and width at the toes. Therefore I must wear shoes with moccasin toes. These are often hard to find. I also like cushion under the foot. These shoes have all these qualities. My only complaint is that I would prefer that the leather be somewhat more pliable.

Width is a little narrower than most shoes, but overall very pleased with this pair of shoes. A great shoe to have for those comfortable jean days.

I was originally shopping for another pair of boat shoes when I saw these instead. They are kind of masculine for me and I'm a casual dresser, but they are growing on me. I was surprised that this shoe offers zero arch support. I've never bought Eastland before so I don't know if that's typical. I purchased my usual size 7.5 and wear thinner socks to allow for more wiggle room and for orthotics for arch support. It's classic East Coast/Midwest style. If you find these on sale, I'd say it's worth a gander.
Brands I'd also recommend: Clarks, Sperry Topsider, Franco Sarto
