While this gets high marks for style, it's tight in the toes even if you order a half size up. The heel isn't stable for someone who may not be used to higher heels. But it IS a gorgeous shoe! I'm glad Earth is branching out, but maybe a more moderate heel would be nice.

These are probably the most comfortable high heel that I have ever owned. After a foot injury this summer that is slowly healing, I need something dressy but a little stiff and supportive. I wear them everyday to work. I do have a few issues, my heel slips out on occasion; these make my feet sweat (too bad the outside is not leather), the toe box is narrow and I have a narrow foot. If they hold up to everyday use, they will be the most value for the money of any shoes that I have purchased. But the brand is not consistent in their sizes. I wear a half size larger in different Earthies shoes.

These shoes are nothing short of gorgeous. Unfortunately, they are a bit heavy and the sole is not flexible, so I walk right out of them. My feet are very tender and I'm very hard to fit. If these were lighter weight with a flexible sole, they would be absolutely perfect....the platform gives just the right tilt. Had a hard time making the decision but I have to return them...can't buy them to just put on when I am sitting... :(

I bought this shoe along with the Veria Too (fancy sandal), Freigurg (clog) and Talera (Pump). Comparing the Talera Pump to this Pump, the Talera comes in leather versus Tanow's patent. So it does breathe better. They are ultimately the same height, but because the Talera has a platform it does not feel as high on your foot, but does not have the same foot shortening effect of a high heel. It is a lovely shoe and the style works well with many looks - especially vintage. But I had to send them back because I have a wider foot and the toe box is average and that makes it too tight for a wide foot. If I had gone up a size, the heel would have been too loose. As for what some reviewers find to be an uncomfortable high arch, I will say this, you have to adjust to a high arch if you are not use to it. But it is worth the effort for most because once you adjust you will find this high arch is a life saver if you need a high arch.

When I received these shoes I so excited. They gorgeous and the right height. However, I had to return them because the toe box is too narrow for my wide feet. If they ever offer these shoes in a wide, I will buy again.

I love Earthies, but I was so disappointed in these shoes. The toebox is extremely shallow and narrow. I'm a B/C width and Earthies normally work for me, but these were excruciating. I also have very high insteps and high arches, which is why this brand normally works well. These are really good looking and they have a sort of vintage vibe to them. I liked the chunkier heel, which is in style now. I sent these to my sister who has narrower feet and she could not wear them either. I wish they came in a wide. I would buy them again.

I agree with others that commented on narrow toe-box. These are very well made shoes, and appear to provide good support but more for narrow feet.

I wanted to love these shoes - they are the perfect heel height and so very comfortable. Just could not get past the thought that they look like huge bricks on my feet. Pretty clunky looking, too. Sorry - going back.
