Two years ago I had foot surgery which removed all of the tissue on the bottom of my little toe. Since that time I have only been able to walk short distances with out limping with the aide of orthotics in athletic shoes. No dress shoes. I have a very high arch and need good support. I am so thrilled about this shoe. I am able to not only wear these shoes without orthotics, but they are at least as comfortable as my athletic shoes with the orthotics. After two years, I am able to get dressed up. Before I bought, I walked comfortably around the store for a long period of time, I told the salesman, that maybe I could just go run the hurdles in them. (: (He didn't think so.) I am looking for another earthie to try. Maybe I can have two pairs of dress shoes.

These are cute but definitely run small. I consistently wear an 11 and my toes and heel hung out over the ends. Must return. The suede is very pretty in both the honey and taupe.

I'd also recommend: I can't think of any brand comparable.

This is a beautiful shoe with a very contemporary look. It is super comfortable with an amazing footbed and great for somebody with a wider foot. No need to break this shoe in! I also ordered the "Earthies Bonaire" but like this look better. The color didn't work for me but I can't wait to get the darker one. Well worth the money!

I'm the person who wrote the March 21, 2012, review. Well, I got these in a 9.5 (my regular) size and there are three problems: (1) The ankles strap is still too loose, (2) my ankles wobble as I walk (a disaster awaits), and (3) the arch falls in a weird place; it felt as if I had a rock under each foot. So although these are rockin'-looking, unfortunately, back they go again.

Earthies is a relatively shoe on the market. I have had only one experience with the brand, the Bonaire Too. That experience has completely colored my assessment of the products Earthies produces. Several product comments about this brand have featured an arch that's uncomfortably high. That is not an arch. It is a sharp little ridge running the length of the innersole where an arch would be. It has nothing to do with any human foot. This product had no testing on a human foot. This indicates zero quality control, very poor design and bad product management. The absurd error renders an otherwise Okay style and materials - though the hardware is incredibly cheap looking. This is an awful shoe. Don't waste your time even ordering it. Look for this brand to fail.
I'd also recommend: It isn't possible to like this product.
