The arch support was a bit too far back for me. The toebox felt narrow, I have true medium width feet (9.5M), it did not feel as comfortable as it did for others. It was also a pain to pull on.

This shoe is as comfortable as a sneaker. Goes well with slacks for work or jeans. I've bought many Earthies shoes and this one is consistent with the feel and the quality. It runs a bit large. I ordered it in the 11M but it feels long and wide which is great for my winter wool socks.

These are very comfortable and stylish - the color is neutral so it goes with almost anything. The arch is high and firm. True to size.

Beautiful burnt red shoe with wonderful arch support for my high arches, but two fatal flaws call for the return of these flats: the "stretchable collar" is actually too tight across the top of my first toe knuckle on both feet (yes, that's where my bunions are), I'm afraid stretching them will ruin that elastic and so I won't have them stretched. Second, they dig into the back of my foot, right below my achilles tendon at the top of the heel of the shoe. (An anatomy of the foot diagram would be helpful here, but you get it, right?) The width was great. I usually wear 7.5W to 8W. I got these in 7.5 and they did not actually touch my bunion on the side, just across the top had too much pressure and was painful. Anyway, too bad. Cute shoe. Nice and roomy for my toes in every other way, by the way. Boo hoo. I'll try again.

The Earthies Rubio is both well fitting and highly attractive, even elegant. It fits like a glove. I have received many compliments on this shoe. I easily recommend this shoe to to others. I will buy another pair in the other available color.

I excitedly purchased the "Vanya" style of Earthies after being blown away by the pair of "Bindi" flats I bought. The Bindis are possibly the most comfortable shoes I've ever bought...right out of the box, I wanted to walk miles in them. The Vanyas...not so much. They don't have the same type or amount of arch support and run a fair bit smaller than the Bindis. That said, the bronze color is really pretty and the styling is nice. Had I bought in a department store, I may have asked to try on the next half size larger or a different pair of the same size. I didn't want to mess with back-and-forth shipping through Zappos, so I kept the pair I received and am still hoping (several wearings later) that perhaps they'll stretch out a tad to make them just a little more comfortable.

These shoes are beautiful...but after two months they looked like I had been wearing them for two years. The first time I wore them outside, I slightly scratched the toe carrying my son up some concrete stairs. The laser-cut leather has a veneer-like coating and it started to peel back -- and it kept going. Any little ding or scratch would cause the same thing. I wouldn't care if these were cheap shoes, but I expect my expensive shoes to last several seasons and see them as an investment. Unfortunately, I waited too long to return them. I also noticed that after a few months the arch supports didn't seem as supportive, but I use super feet inserts and they work well (I have plantar fasciitis from a foot injury). One reviewer complained about the higher back but it accommodates inserts perfectly. I have other Earthies shoes and I really like them, but these are not worth the money.

Love the look of this shoe. The metallic sheen gives it a great pop against darker slacks but returning because the arch support is just way too firm.

These boots look just as pictured. I got the black and wore them for a 10 hour work day right out of the box. They are just as comfy as what I have come to expect from Earthies - there is no need to break them in. I don't know why another reviewer described them as heavy, as they are very lightweight. I usually prefer a leather sole but this rubber sole is probably going to make me happy during slippery weather. The toe is rounded, the leather soft and pebbled, average to above average quality. The peep-a-boo studs in the sueded inset add funky but tasteful flair. My only gripe is that they are a bit overpriced for the quality and style. You probably won't send them back, but you won't be bragging about the deal you got on them either. Overall I am very pleased and put them in the 4 to 5 star range.

Love the nice soft leather and the great Bordeaux color, but the arch support is too hard and too far toward the heel to be comfortable on my foot.

Wonderful ankle boot! Just the right height. Very comfortable. Has the same arch support as all Earthies shoes. Flexible sole makes for a comfortable walking shoe. Very nice neutral color.

I ended up buying Taos Boleros after trying two pairs of these Earthies Sintras, and having problems with the right boot rubbing along the instep zipper. I wonder if I got two defective pairs, or if other people do not notice that there is a lump on the right insole. For some reason, the left boot was sewn with the lumpy part of the zipper below the insole. If only I had two left feet! I have quite high arches and need good support, so I was very hopeful about these. But it just didn't work out because the lump was awful, even with thick socks.

This is a very nice shoe and comfortable but as some others have said, the back of the shoe came apart after only a few wearings. I don't know whether the heel angle makes it vulnerable to tearing or what the issue was but it should not be so poorly made.

I tried three different low boots, and stayed with the Earthies Porto. They are really comfortable, and they're so damn cute. I even got compliments my first day wearing them from guys I work with! Beware - there is a section of "rough" material inside each boot along the upper half of the zipper. That rough section tore up a 1" x 1" patch on each leg of the tights I was wearing. As I want to keep these boots, I'll either have a shoe maker put a soft leather patch over this section, or add an extra set of socks over my tights (socks which will end up being torn up instead of my tights.) Why in the world would Earthies use a section of clearly rough material inside this boot? I'll continue to wear for a couple of months but if I get tired of throwing out socks, I may have to send these back.

Great short boots! These boots are true to size and are very comfortable. They look great under jeans, khakis, and corduroys. The red/cordovan color is a nice change from my black or brown boots. I love the color of these boots! The color is true to what is shown on the website. It's not a true red, and not as deep as a cordovan, it's somewhere in the middle. I highly recommend these boots if you are looking for an alternative to high riding type boots. These are great!

I love these boots. They are so pretty and sophisticated. They look great with jeans and with a black dress. Plus they are super comfortable!

Very cute shoe. Versatile color/style. The heel does rub, but does not slip off my heel. Shoes of this style frequently slip on my heel, so this pair is a good fit for my narrow heel.

Beautiful leather! A little too hip for me with the dual zippers and stud option, but nice boots right out of the gate.

Why God, why did these have to be a tad too little? I have big feet that always hurt. These shoes, while not too unflattering for my size are too small and narrow. Big fat shame! Order a size up. If they came in a 13, I would have done just that. The hunt continues....

First let me explain that I purchased this shoe in jazzy red a couple of yrs go. I loved that they were stylish AND a comfort shoe. They were a little wide, even for my slightly wide feet, but I thought that it would be perfect after a few hrs of wear or when my foot expands in the summer. They have worked out great! When I ordered the black pair a few weeks ago they felt a bit snug in the width. I tried wearing them at home a bit in order to stretch them out. Well, after wearing them outside for only two hrs, my skin below the inside of the ankle was torn and bloody and the back of my ankle was about to start bleeding. The exact same thing happened with the Rubio which I bought last spring, although they felt great right out of the box. And yes, they all make noise when the air is pushed out of the padding. I took the shoes that didn't work to a shoe cobbler to try to find a solution to the rubbing problem, but no such luck. I am frustrated and annoyed that I spent money on expensive comfort shoes that don't work (for me). There may also be an issue with inconsistent sizing. Other than that, I am a Zappos lover and will continue my search for a good black flat.

This boot has some style if this is the height boot you want. I wanted a more simple style; just a smooth leather shoe that was a boot, but this had some style, so I was going to keep them...until I tried them on my troubled feet again. Unfortunately, the boot was pressing on my bunion, so I knew I could not keep it. They actually were very comfortable except for that one area. Off to find a boot that will look good and feel good. The leather is quite pebbled which I am not a fan of.
