I'm usually a 9 and ordered the 9 Wide. The shoes were too long so I exchanged them for the 8.5 Wide. I received them in a day! These shoes are cute as can be, they look absolutely fabulous! However, COMFORT is my first priority and THESE SHOES FEEL GREAT! Lots of padding and support. Heel is sturdy and, combined w/the platform, they kind of feel like "Clog-Pumps". (PS I love clogs, but they don't fit the dress code at work.) I put a little heel pillow in them, cause they were just a tad loose, and now they are perfect and heavenly. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for comfort is because they are still a heel. Barefoot is 5 stars for me!

These shoes felt wonderful and buttery-soft on the feet when I first got them. I wore them around my house for about 30 minutes without a problem. It was when I finally wore them out that they became an issue: after a while they became unbreathable and spots started to chafe. The just don't breath at all, and my feet got hotter, sweatier, and more swollen in them. I now have big divots of flesh missing out of the back of my heels, blisters on the bottom of my feet, and my big toes are bruised. I can't wear anything other than flipflops because it hurts to have anything touch my feet. I really wish I would have just gotten the Danskos!

These are extremely comfortable. I love the heel. They go with skirts, dresses even cool jeans. These border between cool and uncool. I love them and I am very cool! They can be worn with or without stockings. They can be dressed down or up. They are also very comfortable!
I'd also recommend: I'm a boot person, lucchese, old gringo, sam edelman, merrils

Really nice, comfortable shoes. Gives me the additional height for wear with casual pants, yet still pretty enough for dress. They do fit tightly in the toe area, but still manage to be very comfortable. I'm probably going to order another pair in brown.

These are very comfortable. One thing you might want to do is order 1/2 size down. They were snug but comfortable right out of box but by end of 1st day of wear, they slip on my heel. Still wearable though.
