I bought the Earth Rocket shoe primarily for the negative heel technology because my back doesn't get sore wearing them if I'm going to be standing on my feet for a long time. They work well for that. They have a high arch support and you can definitely feel the negative heel in these. I tried to use them for walking/running, but I don't like them for that.

My Rocket shoes fit great. I especially liked the wide toes. After about 6 months, parts of the soles started to break off. Thinking it was just a fluke, I ordered another pair. They are beginning to do the same thing. I have worn Earth Shoes for years (have at least 7 pairs in my closet) and Rockets are a good example of poor quality. I hesitate to recommend them anymore. Great Vegan Shoes -
I have had horrible foot problems for years due to very high arches that have caused plantar faciitis and bunions and have been trying to delay surgery as long as possible. I have tried everything (custom orthotics, cortisone injections, stretching, icing, etc) and nothing has worked. Trying to find decent vegan shoes that actually provide the support I need for my painful feet has been difficult. I decided to give the Earth Rocket shoe a try and have been thrilled! My foot pain is greatly improved and at this point, I don't think I'll need surgery for many years, if ever. I love these shoes! I will absolutely be buying them again when new shoes are necessary.

I think these shoes look as good as any "athletic" type shoe. They are comfy but it does take quite awhile to get used to the lower heel. You can just feel the stretch in your calf muscles. Took me about a week, starting with wearing them just a short while to finally be able to last almost a whole day. I do think they are rather over priced, but only time will tell how they last.
I ordered several sizes and styles and ended up having to get a 1/2 size larger than I normally wear.

I love these shoes. From the first moment of slipping them on my feet, they felt cushy, yet very supportive. Great arch support. I love that both the top AND the heel have velcro adjustments, so you can get exactly the fit you need. I feel like I'm sort of bouncing when I walk. Unique, stylish look. Great fit (but you have to know your Earth shoe size). No more need for my orthotics!! I broke a toe last year, & Earth shoes feel great because they take the pressure away from my toes.

The negative heel took some getting used to, but now I wear them all the time. Shoes are cute, comfortable, and when I wear them to walk a few miles, I can feel them working different muscles in my legs.

I injured my left heel walking over the cobblestones in Nantucket. I tried many inserts, but still had so much pain. Thanks to my daughter I tried Earth Shoes from Zappos. The Rocket Earth Shoes have made it possible for me to walk...pain free. I am so grateful, so very, very grateful. I am looking forward to walking along our beautiful shore road again this spring. I haven't been able to do that for 10 months. Thank you Earth Shoes and thank you Zappos for having so many Earth Shoe options. I am looking forward to wearing my Earth sandals this summer!

Way too much money for the shoe -
This shoe was highly recommended by a co-worker. I like the way it fits. The look is not bad. The price is way out of line. I have not had the shoe for very long but I am going to have to wear them for the rest of my life to feel like I got my money's worth.

Comfy but frumpy.
I love earth shoes and have many pairs. This was my 1st pair of earth tennis shoes. They sure were comfortable but the shoe itself is so wide and has thick white soles that my husband said they look frumpy and orthotic. I agree. I'll be returning them for something a little less frumpy and sleeker.

My fifth pair of Earth shoes -
Having suffered from foot problems for years (old injuries and arthritis), I tried everything, none of which gave me any relief until I tried my first pair of Earth shoes. The Rocket is the fifth pair I have purchased. It is definitely designed as a more "athletic" shoe than my others and it took me a little while to break them in. They felt small, but after some wear adjusted to my foot and are now comfortable and easy to walk in. I mentioned this to my doctor, who was familiar with Earth shoes, and he remarked that the concept certainly made sense. All I know is that they make sense for me.

I have a wide foot, usually wear a size 9.5 wide or 10. The toe box had a great deal room ad great support. I returned the shoes because I just could not get use to the negative heel.

Great shoes for walking or working out -
I read a review once in which the buyer said, "Earth shoes cured my Plantar Fasciitis." I was skeptical as to whether or not this could be true, but I bought some Earth shoes to see if they would work for my P.F., too.
I am happy to say that they really have and now I am married to this shoe brand ;-) Nothing else healed me of my P.F. It's so NICE to be able to WALK pain-free again! The negative heel takes some getting used to, but you get used to it and it feels great.

Undecided whether I like these or not -
OK, so it is hard for me to rate these yet because I have been nursing a foot (ankle) tendon injury since wearing them last. I'm a runner who likes to cross-train. One of the cross-training things I do is power walk on my treadmill at an incline. I think because of the negative heel IN ADDITION to me walking on an incline (I go up to 10) caused me to injure the tendon on the front of my foot/shin. So that's just me. I couldn't find anywhere on line where anyone else had this problem so take it with a grain of salt. The shoe is comfortable after you get used to the neg. heel.

These are the best!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these shoes! I developed plantar fascitiis and these are the ONLY shoes that help and I have tried other very expensive sneakers. Also, I work regularly with a trainer at the gym and find the negative heel to be very stabilizing in all strength moves, especially balancing ones. Can't wait until the foot heals, because these will be my walking shoes of choice! They are incredibly comfortable. I ordered up a 1/2 size, as recommended, and I have a narrow foot, so it fits perfectly. I am now an Earth shoe convert!

For the price I was expecting a little better comfort but overall they are much better than regular sneakers (nike, saucony, newbal. etc). When I first put them on and wore them for a couple days around the house, I didn't like them but the more I wore them the better they got. As far as the negative heel, I got use to very quickly and hope the help to tighten back of legs??!! So I guess a break in period is recommended. I am on my feet all day and my feet feel pretty good. I also use these to walk 3-4 times a week, 45min. at a time and they feel good . . . overall feel good but I don't think they are worth over the price, but might buy again if I can't find anything better.

These shoes are the greatest. The feel of the negative heel is more pronounced than other earth shoes I have. I know I'm using more energy. They are great for walking; however, I bought them as a running shoe. I'm not that great of a runner, and wearing this shoe was like running uphill, way too hard for a beginner like me. I'm still glad I bought them. I'm thinking of buying another pair in a dark color so I can wear them everyday to work.
