These shoes look cute in person, but they are really tight. I normally wear a size 9, but I couldn’t even walk across the room in these. I don’t have wide feet. I don’t think going up a size would help the tightness of the strap and the top of the shoe.

I love the shoes, except that the strap is way too tight for me. I ended up taking out the
Earth shoe inner
sole, and now it’s better, and I have been wearing them. They are so cute and the color is beautiful. I am hoping that the elastic loosens up. Now I can only wear them for a limited time because the strap digs into the top of my foot. I wish they made them with an adjustable strap.

I've been trying to break these in for 2 months. I wear them for a day, and then give my feet 4 days to recover from the bruises the straps make on the tops of my feet, and then I try again. I've also tried stretching the straps out by leaving large cans in my shoes overnight or hanging the shoes by the straps. Nothing helps, so I've started wearing the shoes with the strap UNDER my foot. I'm so disappointed. I really wanted to like these shoes, but they are so painful. If I wanted my feet to be in pain, I'd have bought pretty shoes!

uncomfortable -
These shoes did not feel good on my feet. The strap is tight & doesn't have much give. The material is scratchy & rubbed against my pinky toes. Not the same shape as most
Earth shoes.

So far, so good -
These look much better than I thought they would. They seem to be great to walk in, good cushion, and support, but I still need to break them in more, I think. Only on one shoe, it rubs the little toe, so I think they just need to stretch out a bit.

Not quite what I hoped for.
This is my first pair of
Earth shoes. I love the idea of how
Earth is supposed to help your body, and I could tell a difference in the way I stood and walked. HOWEVER, the strap across the top is WAY too tight and cuts off the circulation in my feet. I wore them around the house for a couple of days to make sure the design of
Earth was going to work for me, but I
guess I never wore them long enough to realize that they were cutting off the circulation until I really wore them out of the house. Really big bummer!!! I am going to try to stretch the strap, because otherwise, they are a waste of $. :( Makes me sad because I really wanted to love them!

Earth Inhale-
Vegan -
These shoes are incredibly comfortable for me! I bought them and wore them all day without
socks, no problem. The inside
sole is a little rougher than usual but not uncomfortable. I wear a sz 7B and bought a sz 7B though one foot is more like a "c". They do fit snug. I probably won't wear them with
socks. The strap is also snug but did not bother me. I don't have a very high arch so maybe if your arch is high the strap might bother you but it is stretchy.

Not what I expected!
I found that this shoe was much smaller than the actual size. I normally wear an 8-8.5 and I had to return them to get a 9. Also the width is very narrow and the strap on the shoe digs into your foot. I don’t have petite feet but I also don’t have big, thick feet either. I was not impressed with the shoe.

Addendum to earlier review -
I recently reviewed this shoe and stated in the review that it really tore up my
heels when I took a walk in them, even with
socks on. I wore the shoes again, walked a lot, again with
socks, and my
heels were fine this time! Go figure! The second time I wore a thinner sock made of synthetic fabric that perhaps did not catch the seaming of the heel of the shoe? Maybe they just finally "broke in"? Who knows? Anyhow, I love the shoe even more now that I can wear it painlessly, and recommend it to anyone who wants something cute, casual and
vegan...

Cute, but painful -
I own a few pairs of
Earth shoes and wanted to try one of their
vegan ones… and so bought Inhale in black. It's really cute! The
sole is also very comfortable - very soft to walk on and of course, the negative heel technology is awesome. I wore them a few times around the house before deciding to keep them and found them quite comfortable. HOWEVER (and hence the title of the review), I then wore them for a short walk outdoors with my dog - man, if you do anything more than mincing around the house in these shoes, they tear up your
heels! And I had
socks on, too! I am really hoping that as they break in, the way that the heel rubs will lessen because otherwise I really like this shoe.

Very disappointing -
I have bought 4 pairs of
Earth shoes in total, 2 were perfect but 2 were awful, this is one for the awful category. They look cheap, they were at least 1 size too large & the elastic band is pure murder, really hurts my foot. I have a "long and narrow" foot so took a chance on them after reading the previous reviews, but am sorry I wasted my money... can't return as I bought in the states. Kind of puts me off
Earth shoes and buying online altogether.

Wanted to love this shoe . . .
Everything others have said is true, but I tried them anyway -- the negative heel
arch support is fantastic, so I wanted to like the shoes overall. In fact, I tried so hard to like them that I kept "trying them out" around the house until I accidentally got them dirty and had to keep them. But they do give terrible blisters on the heel; they definitely need to make a size 10 1/2; and the fabric is just not breathable and gives my feet a terrible odor. And the rose colored shoes have a white footbed, which quickly got dirty and gross.

Not for Summer -
I bought these for my slightly wide size 10 feet. Good news is that they're extremely comfortable - good cushioning,
arch support and they look good, too. Not so good is that they're a snug (but not uncomfortable) fit which is not so great for summer when my feet swell more. Also found the "
vegan" fabric doesn't breathe so well. Saving these for cooler months...

Cute but hurts!
Returned my regular size for a full size smaller. Elastic is too tight and my heel rubs to the point of getting blisters. Good looking but hard to find the right size.

Beware the Strap!!
I was so excited when these shoes arrived, they are adorable and the Kalso Negative Heel is *amazingly* comfortable!
The Bad News: If, like me, you have a high instep, the strap is definitely too tight. I thought I would be okay because my foot is narrow, but no luck. The strap really pinches and these will unfortunately be going back :(
Also, if you are between sizes, I recommend going a size down. These also felt a little big overall.
