Truly comfy -
I've tried on a few different styles of Earth shoes and these feel the best. I have "pump bumps" and they don't cause problems there. I can wear them all day and walk a lot in them. The leather is nice and soft though it did rub me in a couple spots at first (inside of foot just below ankles). And, they look cuter than most Earths.

My Fave Earth Shoe -
I love the Echelons, they are usually the only shoes I wear regularly to work ... I'm on my 3rd pair. I've almost completely worn out the 1st one & having a hard time letting it go! They go well even with my suits and casual wear & uber comfortable. I had to go a 1/2 size up though with my recent purchase, not sure if there's a change in manufacturing or my feet got bigger =-)

Love Zappos and love this shoe! This shoe is so comfortable and I love the look of it. I also love this shoe because it feels wider than most and I need a wider width anyway, so this shoe is perfect! I also cannot say enough great things about Zappos.com. The customer service you receive is awesome!!!

The Earth shoe is as wonderful as I remember it! I owned a pair back in the 70s and was thrilled to see them at your store. The quality is great and the comfort is outstanding. They are even made in the USA!

They are so comfortable, and they didn't need any break in time. I did find that the strap is not really long enough to hide the velcro. It stays closed when I am wearing the shoes, but I am not fond of all the exposed velcro. That is my only negative. Over all, I would definitely buy another pair and/or style of the Earth brand. The shipping time was excellent, too.

I love these shoes. I am on my feet all day and suffer from back soreness along with horrible posture, these shoes stretch my back out and allow me to stand up straight. Everybody on my office has either gotten or wants Earth Shoes.

With its well-burnished leather and nice detailing, this almost qualifies as a dress shoe for people who can't wear fashionable dress shoes. For this type of shoe, the clunk factor is fairly low.
I've worn Earth shoes before and find I have to modify my gait for them to be comfortable. This involves landing on mid-foot -- a little hard to describe, but when I do it, my feet and legs feel great. I actually feel light and quick on my feet, which, for someone of my advanced age, is a pleasure. The toe box has plenty of wiggle room and the strap, though a pain to buckle, keeps the shoe on my very narrow foot.
Which brings me to my one complaint about Earth Shoes: one width does not fit all, despite the snippy reply I got from the manufacturer requesting that they make their shoes in narrow and wide widths. (It was along the lines of "We know better than you do and besides, there aren't any narrow feet out there.") Echelon feels a bit wider than my other Earth mary janes, and the rear slips unless I wear socks with them. But I'd still recommend them for their comfort and their good looks.

Bronze Echelon -
Earth shoes in general are great. If you have never worn them before, it may take a little time for your feet and legs to adjust to them. I love Earth shoe. The Echelon, however, has seams inside the ankle where the strap is attached. The strap in not causing the rubbing problem. I could not wear the design. Sad from Texas.

Received shoes yesterday. Wore them all day today. Very comfy!
Needed the wider box front for a sore little toe. All day mostly on my feet didn't even bother a knee that's given me lots of pain.
Love the shoes. Actually cute. A bit warm in Florida in May...but not a problem. I can walk so well! Thanks to these Earth shoes! Love them and Zappos very fast service!

First time in 30 years -
I saw the shoes on the site and they appeared to be a pewter color. I ordered them because they would match all. The shoes are gold and while I am keeping them, I am disappointed in the color. The fit is wide and they make my size 7 appear to be a 10! Hope they do the trick on my trip to Europe!

I like this shoe a lot. It isn't hard to get used to at all. Very comfortable for walking and standing. I wish the toe was a little less square, but other than that, I like the look.

What a great shoe!
I am recovering from a broken leg and all the leg muscle problems that go along with 6 weeks of inactivity. I was hoping this shoe would help restore my natural gait (It did.) my balance, (It did) and the normal feeling in my feet. (It did!) I found it hard to believe one pair of shoes could do so much in such a short time, but this one did. It looks casual enough to wear with pants and sports skirts, so it's a great addition to my wardrobe.

Too deep -
These look great - almost fit, but are just too deep under the outside ankle bone and feel like they could cut my flesh. I could put in an insole, but that would cut out the benefit of the lowered heel.

Weird at first, In LOVE ever since -
I agree with a lot of people, I didn't like the feeling what felt like clown shoes at first. They also hurt my toe for a minute, but by the 3rd wear, I never felt my almost constant back pain (before) again! It was amazing; I seriously didn't know a shoe could feel this good!! I can't wait to get another pair of any Earth shoe! Wish they made them in (sustainably, of course) in HOT PINK!

The fit is a little weird for my foot, and they take some getting used to. But overall, I like them. Very bad traction on icy sidewalks, but then they are "Earth" shoes, not "Ice" shoes.

Best shoes I’ve owned in a long time -
I bought these for work originally because I was standing for long periods of time and my back was hurting so bad that I could barely walk. After reading lots of reviews, I got these. They are cute and very roomy in the toes. After a day at work in them, my back didn’t hurt at all and it took a few days for me to get used to the arches since I usually don’t have high ones in my shoes. After that, it was great.

Good for me...
I needed the posture adjustment that Earth shoes provide, so these shoes are great for that. I think they run a little narrow, but besides that, they feel good and look great.
