The size was perfect and it's a really comfortable shoe. The only down fall to this shoe is that the treads wear out fast! I have had these shoes since late March and it is almost worn down all the treads. Other than that, they look great and feel great. Not to mention I got them in one day.

I hate these shoes, I love the style and everything but I bought them just last month and the bottom of them ripped off just from walking, I haven't even skated with them yet and now they aren't even good enough to use for skating. They're not even good enough for walking but Zappos was nice enough to send a new pair so I recommend these guys every time you buy a shoe!!

I generally buy skate shoes for their durability and wear them everyday. I’ve had three pairs of DVS and love the rest. These shoes do not meet my general standards. The heel is squishy and feels weird under foot. The heel is separating at layers of rubber. I’ve resorted to buying shoe goo. I’ve already worn through the sole/traction part of the shoe at the ball of the foot. They are now slippery on wet floors. I’ve had them for 2 weeks. They look nice, fit well, but don’t expect them to last more than a month.

Super cute, but not entirely comfortable - I have these in the silver leather. It’s hard to tell in the photo, but they are metallic silver suede with a flat/matte silver leather under the tongue. Fits true to size. The velcro straps make them super easy to put on and adjust. They required a few hours of breaking in to soften them up, but were fine after that. My only complaints are with the comfort level... the insole is totally flat and unsupportive, I ended up taking them out and replacing with Dr. Scholl's sport insole (huge improvement). The other thing is the extra layer of rubber on the cap toe makes the toe very thick and rigid, which decreases the amount of toe space inside. As a result, the toe area doesn't have a lot of "height" inside, so you feel some pressure pushing down on the top of your toenails. They are fine for running errands or light walking, but I don't think I could wear them all day every day like some of my other trainers.

I love these boots! They are super comfy and cute too. I like that they are short, and that you can fold the top over. I like to wear them with some leg warmers. I would totally recommend them to you!

These shoes look awesome. I bought them to wear home on leave from Afghanistan so; I'm pretty stoked to have found a pair so rad. As someone else said, though, like the tongue strap or padding is really snug. I kept adjusting the strings to get a better feel. They break in pretty well, though, and the snugness kinda relaxes. I'd wear them even if my toes went numb cause they really do look that sweet when you're kickin' them out and about.

Exactly what I expected. Perfect. I was looking for a more fashionable, dressy boot as a comfortable alternative to an ugg-style boot. I usually have problems with comfort, but these shoes were absolutely comfortable, right out of the box!! I live in a city and I have to walk a lot, I put the shoes on right when the UPS guy brought them and walked out the door. Not too casual not too formal, perfectly comfortable and cute for an everyday boot. I wear them with leggings and a dress, I don't think they really work with boot-cut jeans, but you could definitely tuck skinny jeans inside them. You can slightly adjust the width of the leg-part of the boot by tightening the tie in the back. (I recommend a double knot) I bought the black ones, and I want the gray ones next!

I bought these shoes for work. The style and durability of skate shoes behind the bar is a plus. I can't say enough about Zappos and the great service and quick shipping. These shoes rock.

Not the best, not the worst... PROs: *Low price/affordable. *Look good under jeans or with shorts. BETWEENs: *Almost stylish look - the pictures look great, but not so much the actual shoe itself (in person). CONs: *Leather is VERY stiff and hard. *NOT a soft shoe *Back of shoe is surprisingly low (whenever you walk your heel tens to slip out of shoe). *Not "puffy" as advertised in the pictures (rather flat). *NO ARCH SUPPORT *Tongue and ankle cushions are hard and uncomfortable as well.

Cute, but order a size larger! I bought these shoes for my teenage daughter because she thought they were really cute. I'm exchanging them because they're too small for her and ordering up a full size.

Nice Shoe! Nice looking shoe and fit is pretty much true to size. This is not the first pair of DVS that my son has owned and a common complaint seems to be arch support or lack thereof. Overall though he is very pleased as he keeps going back to DVS shoes.

Good Shoe - Was looking for a shoe to go home in and didn't want to wear combat boots. A little expensive but from the looks and build of the shoe it will last a long time. (Last pair of dvs's lasted 2 years) I purchased the white and black two tone (front part is white back part is black), looks much better in person. Some small things I took note on where, the stitching seemed to be a little sloppy around the front of the shoe (extra holes with no thread)and there was some glue around the upper sole and leather a little too much for a shoe of this quality. Other then that I purchased one half size bigger (stated from other people) and was right on the money. Really like the overall design and shape and dig the little metal DVS placard on the side. It has been very hard to find a decent non-flashy pair of skate/riding shoes that will look good without impairing its ability to perform but I think I have found them, Good Job DVS!

Too Narrow! This is a really good shoe. The biggest problem with it is how narrow it is. It's way too narrow to be an effective skate shoe. I've seen that most shoes by DVS are very narrow though. I guess they don't realize that as your foot gets longer (14 in my case), it gets bigger and wider too

I just got these in the mail and they fit like a 12 or 12.5 (I ordered a 13). I currently wear DVS Bexleys in a size 13 and they fit fine, so this particular style (the Enduro Heir) is not true to size, but because of the Zappos awesome return/exchange policy, my size 14 replacement is already in the mail for free.

Interesting - This is an overall good shoe. Pros: 1. good look. 2. good for skating. 3. cool on the inside. Cons: 1. no padding above toe. 2. toe wears down fast after skating.

Dvs shoes - I own a white pair of volaris size 10 and they fit great. I bought the black pair and for some reason they were a half size smaller. Zappos was great and shipped out a 1/2 size bigger pair by next day air, with a free return shipping label. They handled it great!

My All-Time Favorite Skate Shoes - In my opinion, DVS Enduro Heir is the best made skate shoe available. I have several other brands of skate shoes, but always come back to this particular model. The cushion in the heel provides fantastic support and the arch support is excellent for skate shoes (many skate shoes have NO arch support). Also, the shoe has a great lifespan. My last pair held out for about 2-1/2 years & I wore them about 5 days/week. The only drawback with these shoes is they run REALLY small. I usually wear size 5-1/2 in mens (I'm female & wear 7-1/2 in womens), but had to get a whole size larger in order for them to fit.
