I love Zappos! They are so helpful and polite! They had shipped the wrong size shoe (because it was labeled wrong not Zappos fault) and without any trouble or hesitation they shipped me another pair. I called on a Saturday and I had them that Monday! I have used them in the past and would continue to use them. What a great company!

I have a problem with a lot of men with size 13 shoes who wear skate shoes. Pretty much every skate company make shoes very narrow and does not realize that bigger footed people are taller and heavy which means more weight distribution. But the DVS boys hit the head on the nail with these sneakears. The width on them are perfect and once broken in are very comfortable. The length on the shoes are true to a size 13 - dare I say a tad bigger. The material of the shoes is very comfortable and they seem well stitched so no worrying about them breaking down anytime soon. I walk in these sneakers a lot through Manhattan to my job at least mile to my office and a mile back to the train and these sneakers still look great are holding up better then I could have hoped for. All in all if you need comfortable sneakers that hold up these are the ones for you...

Very comfortable out of box. I'm not one that needs to break in a sneaker, maybe boots or dress shoes. Nice padding and lightweight. Can see wearing them all day without discomfort.

This is the second casual slip-on loafer design that I have ordered. Even by going over-size, the arch of the upper is practically non-existent (as if the last these were designed upon was for a hand, not a foot and the width hardly varies between the heel and toe, making even a "wide" excruciatingly narrow! These are not slippers, they are torture devices!

These are really nice (and sturdy) shoes. There are few choices for my 20 year old son who wears size 14, which don't look like 'Frankenstein boots' - but he loves these, and says they are very comfortable and warm. Wish there were more options like this.

For not-old-man-lookin' slippers, these are pretty great for the price. Heads up, they fit really small. I'm a size 10, and could barely fit my foot into the L. Swapped out for the XL and fits like a glove. They're comfy and really warm. The bottoms are not rubber, they're hard foam, so they're a bit slippery on smooth surfaces (tile, hardwood, etc).

My husband saw these shoes in a store, but of course they didn't have his size and couldn't get them from the warehouse either. I found them on Zappos and they are perfect. Looks great and very comfortable. Shipping was fast too.

While it's not winter yet, that's why I bought these shoes, overall they feel warmer than my other shoes and I do like them

Nice and comfortable. The only thing is when they're on wet floors, it's like ice skating. True to fit with a sharp look.

Great basic skate shoe. Breaks in fast and the sole is really grippy. A little on the "puffy" side, which I prefer - definitely bulkier than Vans or Cons, but not quite as beefy as some Globes or DCs. Feels good even on the first session.

Excellent shoe. Look good and feel great. Im definitely buying dvs for a long time. As long as the shoes keep their comfort.

Great shoes, slim fit but not too slim. Similar to the Vans Era's...the suede might be a millimeter thicker though, barely noticeable. The fact that they have removable insoles and are affordable made it an easy purchase. My favorites to wear!

Sizing was right on. Delivery was fast. My son needed these for work at a restaurant. They are no slip and he loves them! Hard to find size 14 off the rack. Zappos made it easy!

So happy to find this shoe available at Zappos! My son wears only this model of shoe. My first time ordering at Zappos, and I am impressed. They underpromised and overdelivered! Nice to see that philosophy is still practiced. The delivery was earlier than expected. Shoe price was good, same as what I usually spend for this model.

I loved this shoe's fit and look but the last pair I bought failed in about 6 months of regular, casual wear. The sole on 1 shoe disconnected from the side-wall. I'll try use some shoe glue to fix it but I'm bummed in the lowered quality. My prior pair of this shoe lasted 2.5 years of regular wear. I do not skate or do any other activities that would be abusive to this shoe.

I like the fact that these shoes are so padded everywhere especially the sides and the back of the ankle. All of the most popular shoes now have such thin soles and zero padding, it's nice to see bigger skate style shoes.

DO NOT BUY THIS SHOE! My 14-year old picked these out on Zappos they are similar in style to the Nike skate shoes he normally wears, but a brand that we've never purchased before (DVS). They arrived in good shape and were good-looking. BUT, within 2 days the rubber sole was separating from the upper. The quality is ridiculously poor. Normally, my son can wear a pair of sneakers for a few months before they start to fall apart. This shoe is NOT well-made and I will never buy a DVS shoe again. A complete waste of money.

Disappointed. I typically wear a 10.5 and based on the reviews of others stating that these slippers ran large, I went with a size 10. Fit was very snug and uncomfortable, and my heals pop out of them as I walk. I am returning.

These boots are sweet. Very light, and wear like a sneaker and fit well. I wear an 11.5 and they fit well. You could double up socks and likely you will have enough room. The laces draw in the shoe to tighten up so they are not tight fitting, you have some room. It is comfortable though and the boot really moves with your foot, very flexible. I would say these are more stylish than anything else. I got the gray color which comes with orange laces and a spare black pair. I'm going with the orange, they make the orange sticking in the sole pop. FYI, for those people who think the laces are too long, they are not, you are supposed to double lace them. Do not just criss cross up the boot through the eyelets like you would do with a normal shoe. Go side to side twice, then criss cross up each row, then repeat. This gives you the perfect length of lace AND it keeps the laces in place. If you do not lace this way, the laces are super loose and you'll spend more time than needed tying your shoe every time you put them on, and you'll have 10" of lace left over. Trust me on this one. PS. The photo of the boot does not show this. As far as cold weather goes, other than the neoprene sleeve that your foot fits into, the boot is not very insulated. The sleeve fits around your ankle and upper part of your foot, but not your lower foot or toes. I'm not sure if this can be really considered insulation, but it is an added layer of padding. The part where you really need insulation is at your toes, so I would double up with some warm wool socks. Again, this is subjective, depending on what you are wearing these to do and how cold it really is. All i know is that when it's 10 degrees, and you are out for 3 hours, you are likely going to need very warm socks. The nubuck/suede is super soft and flexible and you definitely are going to need to spray them with a kiwi or scotch-guard suede protector.
