I ordered these in black and am very pleased. They needed to be cleaned from the white powder stuff that is used to preserve the leather, but it didn't take long. These boots didn't need any break in time. Comfy from the get go. They look great with my boot cut jeans, skinny jeans, and straight. Triple winner. The opening around the leg is just the right size for all three styles. The quality of the leather is mid-high quality...not as premium as a Frye boot, yet definitely is a nice quality. I ordered a Frye boot at the same time and am sending that one back. Loved both boots but don't have the time to break in the Frye's. That leather is beautiful, but stiff. I found these Durangos to be versatile, comfy, and true to size.

Comfy!! I'm a size 7.5 if I can buy a wide, but most shoes do not come in wide widths so I order 8.5 to compensate. These were true 8.5 by my experience. I couldn't take them off after they arrived and wore them the rest of the day. Rich brown color looks great. Very happy with these boots!

I love the look of this boot. It is basically very comfortable, but felt just a little narrower than size stated. There is one area near the toe that is rubbing just a little, but I think that will loosen up as I wear them more. I'm happy overall. They do have a white residue on them upon arrival but it comes off easily with leather cream.

I am 5'7'' and 120 pounds. I have very thin calves. After returning a pair of boots with a 15" shaft with a 15½" circumference, I decided that shorter boots would be my best bet in terms of fitting my calves. I am very pleased with how these fit, and I love the height. 13" is so versatile and can easily be dressed up or down. The square toe has ample room and the 8½ is definitely true to size. They are adjustable around the ankle if needed; (mine fit nicely), and the shaft works with jeans, leggings, and tights. There is not a substantial amount of arch support, so I would not want to be walking around in these for extended periods of time without an insert. The boots also arrive covered in white powder that is easily removed. To sum up: If you have slender calves and are having trouble finding boots that do not fit like rain boots, these are great option!

These boots are a solid, if not outstanding choice. On the plus side, they look good, are a great style, and are comfortable. On the minus side, they aren't of particularly high quality. The leather isn't as nice as those of my Frye boots, and they had a few small manufacturing flaws (such as a small spot of adhesive on the shaft, which I'm hoping I can remove). They're less expensive than my Frye boots, so I suppose the slight drop in quality is to be expected.
