This shoe is a great value. The black looks more expensive than the price and is very comfortable out of the box. I walked around Chicago for three days. One thing: there was a slight rub on the back heel the first day, so I used a band aid the next day and no problem and now not an issue. There was some extreme walking! The western look is not so severe as with some other extremely pointed toes. Looks good with dress pants as well as jeans.

Simply sublime! These boots fit like a dream, they are sophisticated and sleek, with just a hint of western flair. Because my feet are huge (10), I like a slimmer toe, which makes me feel more feminine. The shape of these is just right, and the toe is just narrow enough, but not too, so as not to crowd my toes. The heel is also perfect, and feels very stable. The sizing is right on. You'll need a shoe horn, at least until these break in and get softer. Very good quality shoe. Wish they had my size in brown; I'd get it as well. Love these!

I really like this shoe. But you definitely need a shoe horn in the beginning. The sole is very smooth. Will probably add a grip pad to the sole for better traction in wet conditions. But no real complaints with these so far.

I absolutely adore these boots. Comfortable from the first day, they're perfect with any long pants and they appear to be very well made, too. I only wish they came in wider widths. I wear a 7W but these in 7 1/2M feel okay.

Fits my size 11, narrow foot like a glove (even with my orthotics). Have been looking for this shoeboot for a long time. My old pair (from the 80s) are completely worn out. Now I can officially retire them to the shoe farm in the country. Just wish I could get this in other colors.

I have a similar pair to this (just different detail). I'm wide with a high arch. Very comfortable. Exchanged for a half size higher than my usual size. Perfect.

This is such a great shoe and doesn't even need to be broken in. It has a slight western look with the perfect heel height. I would encourage anyone who is on their feet and wants a good looking shoe to boot, go for it! There are not enough superlatives for Zappos, will never buy anywhere else!

I bought this same shoe last year while in LV & decided I needed another pair (to leave at the condo in LV), but I didn't want to make that drive across town again! This shoe wasn't available locally here in Michigan, so I checked online & found them at Zappos. The cost at Zappos (with no shipping charge) was no more than the cost in LV with the added 8.5% tax -- and no driving across town in LV! It's also the same good fit that I bought at the store in LV.

I love these shoes. They are exactly what I was looking for. Dressy in a rugged sorta way. Comfortable heel height. Pointy toe, but not too tight. Suggestion; get a shoe horn to help with slipping them on, so as not to crush the heel.

I love these boots and I'm on my 4th or 5th pair of this Durango. They are so comfortable, a little hard to get on the first few times but its worth it. I even wear them with my dress pants and of course jeans. I will keep buying this pair until they no longer make them which I hope will never happen. I have another pair of full Durango, also and they are just as comfortable. The heal size of these black boots is perfect to. Wouldn't change a thing. Linda.

I got a pair of these probably 10 years ago, have worn them almost every day except summer. I had the soles re-soles, cost almost the same as a new pair, but I loved their comfort, like a slipper. Finally they broke down enough for me to get another. These are like a visit from an old friend. Yay! They look like a boot with longer jeans, everyone thinks they're a boot, but have the ease and comfort of a shoe, I have always called them my boot slippers. Let's not forget I wear an 11 and can't find them anywhere except Zappos! Love you guys!

Gotta say, I love these shoes! Even before I heard that ankle height boots were in this season, I was thrilled with mine. They look equally good with jeans and business casual. No matter which style I wear them with, I feel fashionable. You want these shoes. As much as I love the shoes, I love the Zappos service that got them to me.

I love these shoe boots. I got them to replace an old pair. They fit pretty true. They seem a bit wide to me, but I have a narrow foot so that might be the issue. The top rides up more than I expected, but they are comfortable. I just needed to get used to them not fitting like the old ones. Thumbs up.
